The sushi rolls are fresh and delicious. However, if you try to order online, they do not allow to take out for example the eel sauce. That makes impossible to order online because I will not be paying almost $20 for a roll the way I like to eat it. If you allow substitutions on Doordash, I will gladly order again.

It took me years to try this place which is sad because their sushi is amazing. I love the prices, the menu definitely has options but it isn’t overwhelming. I came in around 9:30 after craving sushi all day and the staff was friendly and quick to help out. They make the sushi right in front of you. It’s fresh even right before closing. They have a water machine while you wait for your food which isn’t much of a wait at all. The condiments bar was clean, the entire store was very clean. The decor is very cool and welcoming. I will have to come back.

I work as a delivery driver. When I arrived at this place to pick up an order, I was told the order would be ready in 3 minutes. I clearly explained that I had parking issues and could not wait long. Despite this, I was kept waiting for about 20 minutes.
When I politely told them that they should give accurate time estimates because false information makes our job difficult, one of the staff members became extremely aggressive, used offensive language, told me to leave, and said they would not give me the order at all. I waited 20 minutes for nothing and was verbally abused for no reason.
This behavior is completely unacceptable and highly unprofessional. Delivery drivers deserve basic respect.
I do not recommend this place.

Mount Everest Sushi serves Japanese appetizers, sashimi, sushi rolls, poke bowls, don-buri, canned beverages, and more. For lunch, two employees served me very well. Some tables and chairs were upstairs. I ate the Salmon Poke and a plum soda and liked them.

Worst sushi I have ever had. 3/3 people who ate the sushi got food poisoning/ threw up. One friend fainted twice and couldn’t stand up. Also, the vegetarian sushi was packaged alongside the sushi with fish, which is not acceptable.

I’ve been coming here for 5 years or so they have by far the best poke bowl in the city. Staff has always been friendly food is always good. Get the salmon poke bowl and add tuna you won’t regret it. Sushi donuts are also fire.

The food here was very good, very fresh, and you get a lot for the price. They have a LOT to select from so if your hungry and this kind of food tickles your fancy this is probably one of the best spots in Pittsburgh.

so delicious! we got tuna poke bowl & house special poke bowl. the tuna in both was absolutely delicious and came with this cute little flower!! they accept off campus dining dollars which is great for pitt students – really yummy taste with good prices. highly recommend
