Stopped here on a cold night and was met with delicious and fresh food! The gentle atmosphere is calming and allows you to enjoy both conversation and the food! Chicken Chow Chow had great sauce and flavor! Don’t skip out on the samosas

Great family-owned restaurant on the Avenue. I believe we have been frequenting this place for the last five years or so. Our son is a big fan of their Chicken Tikka Masala. We loved all the dishes we tried so far. I would single out Momos and Chicken Chilli – they are both amazing. Don’t skip on the drinks either. Their cocktails are tasty and reasonably priced.

I ordered enough for a small army of men, so trust me when I say the food slaps so hard. The restaurant is so good and so FRESH! Everything you can tell is made to order, fresh ingredients, and the food is spicy when you ask for extra spicy!!!! Naan is buttery, samosas are giant, korma was rich and absolutely magnificent. Our Hampden neighbors need to do better and stop sleeping on this spot.

Delicious and perfectly seasoned food. We got the chicken tikka masala, the assorted appetizer platter, and some garlic naan, which was more than plenty for two of us. Also loved the atmosphere with the original brick walls, tin ceiling, and paintings.

It was a nice dining experience!! Went there for the dinner for the first time and it was great!! I talked with the guy who was serving at that time and I asked him about the menu , he just said me to read it !! That was very unprofessional!! Other than that the hostess was very professional and nice . Nice food and nice ambiance!!

I stopped at this quiet, serene destination on my way back to Philly. Both the service and food were quality. The hostess was kind, thoughtful, and attentive. And the food was wonderful, unsurprisingly.
The Everest momos are a delicious curiosity. Consider, if you will, one of the best Chinese dumpling you’ve ever eaten, with a soft, warm, pillowy & flavorful wrapper; then fill it with curried chicken, and dip it in an deep orange-colored sauce of rich earthy spices. A new, yet familiar taste. Intriguing. And the mulligatawny soup went perfectly with the naan sampler (they were all fabulous).
My only complaint: why aren’t there more people!? This place is excellent.
C’mon everyone, get those good-lookin cheeks in these smooth comfy seats. Fill this place up, because it needs to stay!
