Pleasantly surprised with Mount & Bao in Lynnwood! I’ve visited the location in Greenlake one time before but didn’t know they had a few other spots.

This location had easy parking out front and was well decorated for the holiday season. We were seated immediately as it was after lunch hour.

I came with a group of three and ordered the shrimp shumai, salt and pepper wings, honey walnut shrimp, Mongolian beef, spring rolls, and xiaolongbao. Portion sizes were very generous that we even had leftovers, which is always a win.

Standout dishes for us were the salt and pepper wings (lots of wings, super flavorful and crispy), honey walnut shrimp, and Mongolian beef. Everything came out hot and well-prepared.

To top it off, the waitress surprised us with a complimentary slice of cheesecake at the end, which was very thoughtful. Great food, solid portions, and friendly service – we’ll definitely be back!

I’ve been to Mount & Bao so many times that I’ve honestly lost count and that alone says everything! If you’re a dumpling lover, this place is a must-visit.

Their dumplings are hands down the best I’ve had. Always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked every single time. The texture, the filling, the seasoning everything is just on point. You can really tell they put care into their food.

I keep coming back again and again, and they’ve never disappointed me. Definitely one of my favorite spots!

Really recommend Noodles with shredded pork! The broth is fantastic
Fried bao were a bit too fat for us
But generally a nice place! Good service!
And be careful in ordering too much, because their dishes are huge

So impressed with this place!
Every hot stir-fry dish has real wok hei super flavorful, smoky, and done just right.
Portions are big, ingredients are fresh, and everything tastes authentic.

Honestly, this might be the best Sichuan & Hunan restaurant in Washington State.
Highly, highly recommend!

This establishment is a 4.6 out of 5 on Google for a reason. It’s fantastic! I’m here to tell you that the current rating on Google is accurate. My friend can’t handle any spice. This restaurant made a Mongolian beef dish without any peppers or spice and it was great. I ordered the pig intestines and potatoes with spice because I can handle any level. I felt the intestines could have been cleaned a little more because it did have a little negative flavor, but it wasn’t off putting by any means. I literally ordered intestines so I knew what I was getting into lol.

The service was great from the start. We were greeted when entering and we were asked multiple times if we needed anything while refilling out water. The service was friendly and they were able to accommodate my friend with no spice. The staff even offered to dish up our leftovers when most restaurants expect you to do it yourself. I of course did it myself, but it was nice of them to offer.

The restaurant was clean, has great food, ample parking, and perfect staff. This is what a 4.6 rating restaurant is expected to perform at. Great job!

Service was lacking for dine in, 3 employees working the front but seemed very occupied by take out orders. Sweet and sour pork was delicious, house fried rice was ok but very small portions. More like a bowl flipped upside on a large plate than a full order. Speculating mandarin speaking tables got better service cause those were also the ones getting pickled vegetables when seated. Didn’t just notice this on 1 or 2 of the tables, I should’ve spoke mandarin upon arrival/ordering. Also, don’t give paper material to go containers if it’s oil based sauce (last pic taken at restaurant) but was ready to leave

We secretly celebrate our friends’ birthdays here. Our favorite dish is the spicy tofu beef. It looks spicy, but it’s just right—very soft tofu and tender beef with a rich flavor. Afterward, all tables get a free cake, which makes us feel incredibly lucky and creates a memorable birthday experience. We’ll definitely come back again! The Thai tea is also freshly made and not too sweet.

Food: 5/5
Ordered dry-fried green beans, grilled squid, and fish-fragrant shredded pork.

All the dishes were excellent and very authentic flavors. The green beans were fresh and perfectly cooked, not overdone. The grilled squid was full of flavor—spicy, salty, and satisfying. The fish-fragrant shredded pork tasted almost like a hot and sour soup in dish form—spicy, tangy, and incredibly delicious.

Service: 4/5
The server was friendly and patient. The food arrived within a reasonable time. Nothing extraordinary, but no complaints either.

Atmosphere: 5/5
Really liked the layout of the restaurant—comfortable and inviting. Lighting is great, and the vibes were there.

100% This place serves some of the most delicious Chinese food I’ve had in a while. It leaves you craving for more. I highly recommend dining in rather than take out.

Ordered a bunch of dishes via the QR app on the table. Out of all of them, highly recommend the Salt Pepper Fish and Green Beans. Everything was well seasoned (except for a few dishes that were a little too salty such as the pork ribs and mapo tofu) and came out quickly. Specialty drinks were refreshing. Gave 1 less star for excessive noise. We went on Sunday around 6 and it was just starting to get busy.
