I go here sometimes. It’s a really nice place. The parking might look full in the front, but there is parking all over that little shopping center. Anyway, the food is always good. I usually get a burger, but I did get the Steak Oscar with onion rings and coleslaw. They have a nice selection of beer as well. Usually craft, but they also have the usually Heineken, Michelob Ultra, etc. The service is always on point. Friendly staff that are attentive and check to make sure you’re good. They have booths, tables with extra seating upstairs that looks over the first floor. There is a fire going in chimney during the winter months as well which add to the atmosphere. If your going through town and looking for a place to get something to eat, I’d recommend it. Cheers!

This restaurant has wonderful, well-priced food with a wide variety of choices. The ambience and atmosphere is cozy, and very warm. The service is excellent. I highly recommend this place if you’re in the mood for a bite to eat. They have raw oysters on the half shell at an amazingly good price.

We were on a road trip and got hungry. We found Mount Airy Inn and were extremely pleased! The atmosphere, the service and our breakfasts were wonderful. Our server was top notch and we never asked for a thing. Our meals were hot and made perfectly. The waffle was delicious. My husband enjoyed his breakfast very much and said the pancake was one of the best he has ever had. The coffee is amazing! The atmosphere is very lively. We will definitely be back!

Really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere at the Mount Airy Inn. It was easy to find this place and it came highly recommended. We ordered the Maryland crab soup and spinach salad as our appetizers and then had chicken pot pie, which tasted homemade. Everything was delicious! The servers are very friendly.

Went here with some friends for a new year brunch. The food was good, the portion was smaller than expected. We had a Great server who attended to our party of 8 very well. We sat upstairs and got a nice view of the surrounding landscape. Overall would recommend.

The food was horrible. The shrimp were overcooked, mushy, and covered in so much old bay we thought it might’ve been some sort of added breading (pictured in review). Avocado in the salad was completely brown and tasted rotten.
I ordered chicken and waffles with a side of bacon and it was delivered to my table 20-25 minutes after everyone else’s food. Everyone had finished eating when I started and my chicken and waffles were cold. I never received the side of bacon.
It was a Tuesday (14May24) and not busy, so it was unacceptable to have food served 20-25 minutes late and still be charged.
I wouldn’t recommend Mount Airy Inn to anyone.

I’d call it the most consistently tasty restaurant in Maryland. Been back countless times and have always been content to stay a while and satisfied by the food.
Since we moved to Mt. Airy this place has become a true local staple. The space is always clean, super cozy, and has very friendly staff. The menu is delicious and we’re always satisfied with portions and price. It’s the perfect place to take visiting family. Breakfast is always available and it’s delicious! Bartenders, hosts and waiters make the place exceptionally hospitable. After dinner in October a waitress told us about the doors on the ceiling and the ghost that lives upstairs! This December we were warmed by dark roast beer and freshly squeezed mimosas at the bar.
We’ve found that every once in a while the meat is overdone. Some days it is perfect! It has become rather “hit or miss” on whether or not we will have a well overdone chicken breast/ steak.
All in all, we love Mt. Airy Inn! Mt. Airy wouldn’t be the same without it 🙂

Everything was yummy. Great Bloody Mary, only missing an Old Bay rim lol. The Wood Fired Brushcetta appetizer was delicious. The Meatball sub and Inn burger were good. The meat was a tad bland but still pretty good. Next time we come, we’re trying their all day breakfast 🙂

Stopped in for breakfast after an MRI down the street. Western omelet was incredible. Natalie at the bar was awesome. We figured out her doppelganger is Anne Hathaway.
