We joined friends for a night out of mussels and gin – enjoyed the evening with great drinks and food. They have a good selection of Portuguese Gins (also have your traditional options too) and we tried several. Our servicer was great at explaining the different profiles and brought over a few bottles so we could smell the Gin (Yesterday and Black Pig were nice!).
We tried 2 mussels with fries and it did not disappoint – yum. Recommend this great Campo de Ourique, we will return.

Steer clear. I can’t understand how this restaurant got their current review score.
We were met with a unfriendly waiter and were served mussels that were plasticky with an oily pesto sauce. The waiter forced us to take a drink because “you understand I can’t sell you mussels without anything else”. No, I can’t. A visit to the toilets revealed the truth: its indications on the door (male, female) were rushed with a pen and the bowls were disgusting with no possibility of cleaning them because there was no brush!
Judging by the flies we have seen through the kitchen glass —which might be explained by the mussels—, we prayed we could get home safe. We did, thank you for asking. When we were presented with the desert options, we rejected them outright and decided to pay. The card reader and the same waiter asked how must tips we wanted to leave. That’s outright brilliant; none, obviously!!

Ooh I LOVED THIS PLACE. Moules portions are quite big so if you are not starving, then you cpuld share one portion and order some extra fries or pasta. In my opinion, gin prices are bigger the expected but the same as anywhere else in Lisbon. I used THE FORK app and got 30% discount

Mussels were great, loved the thought on the table, and gin were a bit pricey. Wish tables were slightly bigger to fit the bowls and platters. Too bad their Thai lemon grads Mussels felt super watered down and bland. Would recommend sticking to the original. Also no Belgian tapestry beer, but Heineken…

We loved it so much we came back the next day again. Amazing fresh mussels in delicious sauces — we ordered the classic and the spicy tomato and the two sauces mix together perfectly. Would definitely recommend ordering those two. The fries are delicious too. Highly recommend the Portuguese gins! If you like mussels, this place is for you.
This place has a wide variety of ways to go along with mussels. If you don’t like them, you have 2 meat dishes, although I think that is not enough.
They have very nice beer. Not a fan of beer? Try their red fruits beer, it’s really sweet.
They have awesome desserts too! You can try the rare peanut butter!

Cute restaurant with the best moules in Portugal. There are different variations of moules and gins to choose from. The moules are very delicious and for people, who want to eat spicy, there is also a very sharp one named ‚Moules Chilli‘ but if you go there for the first time choose the classic with the belgian sauce and vegetables. The service was very nice and also told us all the infos about ingredients from the monthly moules and gins.
