Stopped by MOTW Coffee and Pastries and it was solid all around. Coffee was on point and the pastries were fresh. The empanadas were my favorite… must try!
Staff was welcoming and chill, super friendly. The spot has a good vibe between the people, the art on the wall, and the coffee. Easy place to sit, talk, think, get some work done, or just relax.
Not just another coffee shop. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to and recommend to others.

Came to check out this cute coffee shop in downtown Middletown. We were greeted by friendly staff as soon as we got to the counter. They were busy too. We ordered an iced latte and some pastries to include baklava , birds nest, and , baklava finger. Everything was good. Definitely had some tasty sweet treats here.

We’ve been to MOTW’s Middletown location twice now, and both times it’s been fantastic! This one is consistent to their New Haven location, and my husband absolutely loves their chai. I got the hot chocolate, and it was served at the perfect temperature, where it was hot but not scalding. The staff handled the volume of customers well, and we were pleasantly surprised at how quickly the drinks were ready. We took them to go this time, but they have a nice seating area as well. Looking forward to stopping by again when we’re in downtown Middletown.

Popular on a Sunday! Beautiful interior decor, hard working staff. I found ample parking in the public lot across the street. The labnah and za’atar toast was yummy! There were families, students, couples, all enjoying coffee and treats.
I just wish they had ceramic cups available for use or purchase. To go cups only are offered.

Had this place on my list to try. Very happy I did. Myself and 2 co-workers shared various things and they were all soooo good! The cardamon latte (they make their own cardamon syrup for it), vanilla coconut latte and the refreshers were all so the best. Didn’teven add sweetener because they were perfect. Then I ordered multiple empanadas and they were so delicious as well. Top favorites: egg and red pepper, beef, Argentinian chicken. And the pistachio tres leches so moist and good. It is rare for me to find that. This place will be on my list to return. Worth it!!!

Drinks were really good! Workers were really friendly, atmosphere was very welcoming and they’re open late! Vibes were great with the board games and card games they provided. Definitely coming here again. Would recommend to friends and family!

OMG! So very happy an establishment that radiates kindness, peace & love came into the area! My husband & I were beyond excited to support a small Muslim business especially with them offering so many halal items! This means we were able to enjoy ourselves without having to struggle with ordering things that are only limited! The whole menu was our oyster! We ended up ordering a strawberry cupcake iced latte, a crème-brew ice latte & a bacon egg & cheese empanada. Everything blew us away. The interior decor made me feel at home. It was clean, bright, welcoming & beautiful. I really enjoyed the Hadith on the wall, decor & the kindness from the workers. Money well spent, time well spent. MOTW will be seeing us more often than they’d like now.. AWESOME PLACE! Thank you MOTW!

We got the crème brûlée iced latte and some pastries; Baklava, birds nests and baklava fingers.
The iced latte was very good, creamy and topped with cinnamon
The baklava had lots of pistachios, very flaky pastry very good combo of pistachios and honey! Wish there was a bit more honey.
The baklava finger had a combo of pistachio and walnuts! The birds nests had both chopped and whole pistachios!
They have a variety of drinks to choose from and breakfast options like muffins and empanadas, cakes, bagels and croissants
