This restaurant is located in Richmond Heights at Hanley and Dale. There is plenty of surface lot parking. For those who don’t know, Detroit styled pizza is known for its crispy corners and epic cheese pulls. We were greeted warmly upon arrival but wasn’t sure what we wanted right away. The gentleman working behind the counter was very friendly and patient as we perused the menu for our selections and perused the very epic drink displays. They have non-alcoholic beverages as well as canned or bottled alcoholic beverages including full size bottles of wine. We settled on their new Hot Honey Hawaiian pizza (Spicy vodka sauce base, shredded mozzarella, fresh sliced mozzarella, bacon, sliced capicola, fresh pineapple, jalapeno, finished with a drizzle of hot honey, and topped with Red Hot Riplets) in Detroit style for our main. They also offer pizza in New York style, traditional hand-tossed and gluten free. Because we were dining in, we were offered complimentary garlic knots which were hot, buttery and came with a side of spicy vodka sauce – which by the way is delicious! Next, our salad came out. We ordered the Nuts and Bolts salad (Mixed greens, walnuts, cranberries, goat cheese, shaved onions, carrots, & raspberry vinaigrette). Normally, goat cheese gives me the ick but this goat cheese did not. I loved how bulky the salad was and filling it was shared between three adults. Our pizza came out (4 squares) easily shareable between us three. The cheese pull was there and the Red Hot Riplets on top, a nod to St. Louis. The squares were hearty as well. Each bite was savory, spicy with a little sweet. I love pineapples so I did wish there were more on there but nevertheless this pizza was a solid choice enjoyed by each of us. Lastly, we were offered complimentary cookie bars which were warm too. I will definitely be back!

They offer Detroit, New York, and traditional styles of pizza, but are known for Detroit’s pan style. We liked it, mostly because it wasn’t as greasy as other Detroit pizzas like Jets. The toppings are fresh and varied. Meatball with giardiniera is a nice combo.
They offer daily specials if you order online, like bogo beers on Fridays. They have a fantastic selection of canned beer that were chosen to compliment pizza.
A small pizza is enough for two hungry adults. When dining in, they often bring around free garlic knots and chocolate chip cookie bites.

First time visit today with my husband and we LOVED IT! He got a Detroit style and said it was the best pizza he’s ever had. I got the GF Detroit style with the Vegan cheese and I was AMAZED!!! So happy to have this food option! They even gave us garlic knots (apparently you get them when you dine in) but also gave my husband and I each a free piece of the GF cookie to try. They were so nice. All around great experience

Delicious pizza reasonably priced and good service. we got a Detroit 8×10 for my starving husband and a GF detroit 8×10 for myself and my kid. First of all, it was amazing to know that I would be having the same food as the rest of my family and not something that looked different. Second of all, that’s the best GF pizza I’ve had in the while. We also got a small basket fries just in case and those were delicious too. Nothing was greasy or oily, well salted. really happy with this experience.

Im torn about this place. They are on the verge of having the best NY pizza, but the crust is way to thin and floppy. The quality of the ny crust is very tasty. Their detroits are good but not a fan of the crispy garlic and they seem to put it on every pepperoni pizza, even the NY and I didnt like it. Also, last time I had the salads, they had that rotten dark green spring mix. This place has serious potential but the salads and the too thin crust is keeping score lower.

I asked for a meatball pizza canzone. I got a calzone with meatball, roasted peppers, spinach, mozzarella, and ricotta. I don’t like any of the ingredients, with the exception of the meatballs and mozzarella. I thought I was gonna get a calzone with meatballs, mozzarella, and marinara. The menu never specified what would be in the calzone.

Really excellent Detroit-style pizza! The crust is exactly how Detroit style should be. Ingredients are high quality, too. Excellent selection of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. And the sandwiches are great (and huge). A regular staple for my family!

Great food and great people! We dined in and had a great experience!
There was a nice young adult/family crowd doing both carry-out and dine-in. The menu had more options than anticipated and it was hard to decide what to order! The small Detroit style pizzas are perfect for 2 people to share but we were happy to have leftovers. The entire time we were there, the staff was kind and checked in frequently enough but weren’t annoying or anything. The owner brought out garlic knots while we waited and little cookie cake bites after the meal.

We just stopped by today, with a party of 9. The pizza came out quick and the owner/worker was very friendly. He made sure we were comfortable, and have everything we needed. The pizza was one of the best I have had in a long time. We had the bbq. Chicken on NY style crust, and a NY style with sausage. The pies where delicious and huge!! We live in Illinois but will travel to eat here again!
