I’ve been waiting to try motor city tacos!
The building itself isn’t huge. It’s a small dining area attached to a small grocery market. They have many staples a Hispanic family could need.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. I ordered three tacos (Mexican style) to go. All the tacos were served with sliced grilled onions and cilantro. Grilling the onions and having them sliced as opposed to diced was a nice touch.
The chicken taco was good. The flavoring of the chicken was nice. The steak, while chopped small and cooked well was not flavored much. But the Al Pastor taco was great! The marinade really shinned through. If you eat pork I highly recommend trying this. The hot salsa wasn’t very spicy and the mild was nice. About what you get at most Mexican restaurants.

I went in today to dine in with my boys. I learned that Sundays are their busiest day. I had waited on a table that the waitress told me to wait on. She said The family that was sitting there was getting ready to leave as soon as Man walked in after us they gave him the table we were waiting on and we’ve been waiting for 10 minutes, I had sat down at the table next to that man so the lady can know that we’ve been waiting. There was a rude waitress there. She didn’t even ask me to get up. She just moved the table as I was sitting there the rag that she used to wipe the table down smelled so bad , so sad to say I used to come here all the time but now that environment is different. The staff is different. I’m just not a fan of this place no more. 2.5/10

When you are here you need to try their Tongue tacos, pastor Tacos and barbacoa those are your winners!
They have other stuff like Ceviche tostadas, quesabirrias, chicken, etc plenty of things in their menu and the prices are rly good.
All the way in the Back of the store in the fridge area there’s a few other desserts. Theres one cake like with a delicious Bailey’s flavor that you will want to devour!!
First time I see a Mexican Taco place/store around here as clean as this one!
Food is authentic and authentic flavors. They have a few pieces of Pan Dulce (Mexican bakery) and they have a small area for Mexican groceries as well where you can find peppers, cactus, Mexican treats and many other products.

This place is 20/10!! Me and my boyfriend came here for an early lunch before we headed to the beach and we wanted to find an authentic Mexican spot as we are both Mexican food lovers. Food was flavorful and filling, prices were fair and the service was 10/10! Will definitely be back when in the area.

Excelente!!! For me, the mark of a great Mexican restaurant is when you can order multiple meats and all of them are juicy and tender. Obviously they need to have great flavor as well . This seems like a low bar, but there are so so many taco restaurants out there that are good, but their meat is just too dry. Not so here! I got a Carnitas, Pastor, Asada, and Chorizo taco, and each one was great. The Carnitas was especially fantastic. Also, major bonus when their chips and salsa and sauces are delicious, which they were. They also added a bowl of pickled carrots, which I loved. Server was super friendly and helpful. Go here!

I use to love this place. But, they are fooling their clients. One time could look like an error, but 3 times? It’s enough.
At checkout they changed the prices showed in the menu. Plus, taxes and fees. THIS IS ILLEGAL! you have to respect the prices on the menu, not change it last minute at the checkout.
They been stealing to their clients all this time.
Leave a menu at your table always is my advice. And compare the prices at checkout.

Fresh tacos. Ordered the beef tacos. Which was nice crispy pieces of steak. Choice of corn or flour tortillas. I went with the corn. If you’re looking for Taco Bell flavor, this is not the place. Some sort of sauce would have made the taco have an extra star, as they were a little dry. No sauce was offered or on any table as an option. Three tacos averaged $8.00. Has a lot of Mexican candy and fresh produce, and a meat counter , plus spices etc. If my review was helpful, like and follow me please!

Driven by this place 100 times and said “Man I have to try this place…” Well I finally did! What a great surprise! These guys have some amazing authentic food. I mean, I have only tried the tacos so far but will return to explore the other dishes. Its an extension of their retail store that offers a selection of items from Mexico as well as some other items. There are about 10 smaller tables to sit and eat but they also have a few tables outside as well under an awning. All of the tacos were amazing and very flavorful. They started with their house made chips and salsa. Then they bring out limes and pickled veggies to top your tacos or eat as a side. We had the chicken, chorizo, pastor and birria tacos and all of them exceeded my expectations! Rice and beans were better than most places and were a great compliment to the tacos. I will 1000% be back to try more dishes! GO!!! You will not regret it!
Went back again and tried the Chimichanga… that was amazing as well. I am going to assume its all going to rank up there in the very good to amazing rating! 🙂 See you soon MCT!

Okay I wish I could rate it higher. The food was good, my son thought it was outstanding because he said it was more like authentic Mexican food. It certainly worth a visit but there is absolutely no atmosphere, it’s actually inside a store. And for that alone I can’t rate it very high. But if you want authentic Mexican give it a shot.

If you are looking for some authentic Mexican tacos in Waterford, you have come to the right place. I had the chorizo, carnitas and asada tacos. All were very flavorful. My shells did want to fall apart on two of them, but this is my only complaint. The service was excellent from everyone!
