Stopped here for a late dinner. The place was empty except for the workers so there was no line.
I went for the Double Cheeseburger Deluxe platter (came with fries and a small soda). The cheeseburger turned out to be okay, nothing spectacular in my opinion.
The fries were middling. They seemed fairly limp and pale. They were also lukewarm when I ate them but that was because I had to walk back to my place to eat (and got sidetracked along the way; definitely not the restaurant’s fault there).
The cake turned out to be pretty good. I didn’t know what to expect from a cake with caramel frosting but I ended up liking it.
The service seemed a little brusque but I suppose it was because they were near closing time.
While this might not have been an excellent meal, it wasn’t the worst. And maybe they did some foods better than others. I might have better luck with their Motor City Dogs.

Got a chicken salad for 21 dollars added a koolaid and it went to 27 bucks. Ask the guy why is it so much and he say the drink is 5 bucks. Then I told him so how is it 27. Then hi show me this small sticker. You are being charged to use your card. It would be nice to know that ahead of time. I asked why didn’t he say anything he said because he doesn’t have to. Real messed up way to steal a few couple dollars from a person.

Doordashed Best corn beef sandwich around from here! The slices were cut perfectly thin and stacked on with a hint of mustard infused in between providing a great flavor.. You can’t go wrong eating here check them out ill definitely eat here again.

This place is a rip off, I just ordered a western omelette breakfast which was 11.99$ I added corn beef, ordered a veggie omelette breakfast for my mom grits with cheese. The order was 40.00 dollars even I asked for a receipt the receipt was bogus with just the price and card number. I pulled out the drive thru and went in the restaurant and said I need the receipt showing the prices of what I was actually charged for the corn beef that I added to my omelette was 9.99 plus she charged 1.50$ for an extra egg didn’t even mention I was being charged poor server skills also I live in Novi and there Coney Island breakfast is no where near them prices I know certain areas are different but you would think since it’s Detroit the prices would match the community of the ppl income, anyway do not support this restaurant they will rip you off I literally almost cancelled my order and ask for my money back or the cops would have been called. I never complain and I had the money but I don’t like being ripped off. They charge you extra for using your card instead of cash as well.

Love the ladies that work here always happy and pleasant the food is the best wish they stayed open later.
UPDATE 5.6.24 This place never misses! Still great energy even through the drive thru……food was still hot when I got home to Ecorse. AND THEY HAVE REALL CONEY DOGS NOT BAR S HOTDOGS!!!!!!!! I will always go out my way to come here!!
