The food was delicious. My husband and i got the chicken alfredo which came with a soup or salad (we got salad) and garlic bread. My son ordered from the kids menu and got spaghetti and meatballs and he loved it, service was fast and friendly as well. It was cozy and inviting, we really enjoyed our visit.

The food was amazing, the portion sizes were perfect! The appetizers were wonderful and anyone who knows italian, knows how hard it is to have toasty bruschetta bread without being too hard. The service was wonderful and my kids loved it! So happy to have a great new spot to go to after church!

I’m so happy that Mother’s Italiano is here in Chapel Hill! I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in, I honestly thought it would be a walk up counter to order take out, but the inside was super big and had plenty of tables to actually sit and eat. The food was so delicious, and the wait staff was super friendly. I would definitely come again!

Great place to eat and very reasonable prices. My ziti was delicious but that Bruschetta bread was just right. Look forward to taking the family.

Love this gem. I had the lasagne and it came with a salad. It was delicious and the garlic bread was a good portion for the meal. I had leftovers for the next day and it was so good. The owners are very friendly and talked with me while eating. It was during the snow storm and I was so thankful they were open. Definitely returning!

My wife and I stopped by this past Saturday and had a good experience. We ordered a pizza and it was delicious! It was big and they really piled on the toppings, which again was great! Our waitress was very nice, and the owners came by and were very sweet. They just opened, so there are some bugs to work out, like with any new business, but overall, it was wonderful. We will be back, and we highly recommend you check it out!

We stopped in about a week ago. We were seated fairly quickly. Our server took at least 15+ minutes before she even said a word to us. (Even though she had been talking to tables around us). She finally took our order about 30 minutes after we were seated – chicken Alfredo, cheese tortellini, and spaghetti all with salads. Took another 20 mins to get our salads. The lettuce was sub lettuce! So odd and especially for an “Italian” restaurant. We were at the hour mark and our food still hadn’t came out.
We complained and talked to the owner. No reason for any of this to happen. We got 10% off for the hour delay and took our food to go.
Now the worst part – the food! The sauce for the tortellini was disgusting. It tasted like old cheap sauce from a can covered up with a quarter cup of Italian seasoning. I threw it away. The sauce for the chicken Alfredo looked dark. Husband said it was nasty and that man will eat just about anything and not complain, until that night. Same issue with the spaghetti.
Folks, don’t waste your time or money. Nice people, but very slow service and prison grade food.

We have been waiting weeks to finally eat at Mother’s Italiano, and it was so worth the wait. I love the giant glass roll up doors. We plan to come back for lunch when they are open. The food was incredible and the service was attentive and friendly. We had bruschetta, cheese curds, salad, minestrone soup, lasagna, chicken piccata and shrimp Alfredo. For desert We had molten lava cake and lemon cello cake. We can’t wait to go back to try the other dishes.
