One of my favorite restaurants in Morgantown. The service is superb. The woman who works the front is always kind and welcoming. The food is delectable. The chicken chili is my go to dish but anything on the menu is worth a try. Their onion chutney is out of this world! I buy it by the quart for use at home! The prices are fair for the size of the portions and the quality of food. The buffet is always fresh and well maintained with a nice variety of dishes.

I absolutely LOVE this place! The best indian place i have ever eaten at. The owners are the nicest serves that i have ever come across and are very passionate about their establishment. The food is phenomenal and you really get what you pay for. I love this place and eat there quite frequently. The atmosphere is very calm and quiet even when there are little kids. If you have never tried Indian, I recommend trying their buffet because they have so much to offer.

We were driving from DC to Ohio and wished there was an Indian place for lunch. We checked on Google and were pleasantly surprised to find this place serving lunch buffet. It was decently crowded with locals. The buffet menu was brief and the taste was above average.

We were in Uniontown, PA and were craving for some indian food and this was the closest place. The food was good but the spice-level could’ve been better (we specifically asked for ‘mild’ spice level but it was quite bland). We ordered a vegetarian platter of appetisers which was quite satisfactory (both in size and flavour). The left-overs were quite delicious next day.

Pretty good Indian food. Garlic Naan is amazing. Have a buffet on Sundays so you can try a bunch of dishes. Not very spicy, make sure to ask them to make it spicy!

The atmosphere and service were quite nice, but the food is merely passable. I Had a wide sampling, and only the chicken masala was even approaching flavorful. The rest was pleasant but rather bland. The naan was the exception, dropping below tolerable into unpleasant and being alternatingly burnt and uncooked. An acceptable meal, but not Morgantowns best

Mother India is getting really bad. I’ve been going for the lunch buffet for years. I have it in front of me now. The Riatta is VERY watered down — in fact it is mostly water. The naan is rubbery. All the veg dishes are also thinned — how many lentils should be in Dal Mahkni? Mother India thinks one is enough. Saffron is MUCH better and more people would go if it was downtown. I don’t think I will be paying the $10.55 from now on. Clearly profit has trumped good food.

I had food my lunch buffet here.
These guys food is as authentic as it gets, close to what you would get in India.
Highly recommended.
My only crib was their dessert (gulab jamun), once I tasted it two bites I knew that this was old and when I mean old it was atleast 2-3 days old…
would have given 5 starts if not for the dessert that I tasted which was old

Hey, it’s Indian Food in West Virginia – what do you expect?? Staff is mildly friendly. Décor is Indian-lite. Food is close enough to Indian food to satisfy. >>Vegetable Makhani? Superb! >>Chicken Tikka Masala? Rubberized chicken in a watered down sauce. But at least there is some cream in it. Fantastic to satisfy that craving, disappointing compared to what it could.
