Mother Hen Fried Chicken delivers a truly memorable dining experience, with the homemade quality and freshness of their food shining through. I ordered the daily special, which featured sweet chili sauce, and had it added to their perfectly cooked chicken tenders. The sauce was outstanding, with balanced flavors that showcased the care and attention in every dish.
There’s been a lot of excitement about Nashville Hot being added to the permanent menu, which I was looking forward to trying. However, when I saw the sweet chili special, I couldn’t resist—and it did not disappoint. Now, I have more than one reason to return!
We also shared a side of fries, which were crispy and plentiful, and the portion sizes were generous. The house-made ranch dressing was exceptional and paired perfectly with the meal.
Mother Hen is a great example of why supporting local businesses is so important. The quality, flavor, and overall experience were fantastic. Thank you, Mother Hen, for an amazing meal. We’ll definitely be back soon!

Awesome place for fried chicken. Delicious, juicy, buttermilk fried chicken. Definitely a must eat again spot. Selection of sauces. Good prices. Food served out of a trailer but there’s a few tables with chairs should you choose to eat there. Be sure to check their Facebook for their hours!

Excellent food, worth a visit. No long waits, staff are friendly, and again food is great. I recommend the broccoli salad as a side, it’s great. Order a side of the gravy for your chicken, you won’t be disappointed.
