First time trying here after our normal Indian has gone down hill.
Safe to say it was delicious. We had chicken pakora, the batter was lovely and not to thick. We also had chicken korma and tikka masala and it was delicious. It was not oily at all and was sooo creamy. The naan bread was lovely too. The electric went off during our meal but was delt with instantly. The only slight complaint was the kids meal was huge for my 4 year old and felt she was a bit overwhelmed by the huge portion, there was about 8 nuggets. Could do with the portions being alot smaller. They offered hot towels after and a shot of baileys as a complimentey thing.
Will definitely go back back again.
And recommend to people.

Excellent food and the service. The owner is very friendly and kind. Homely atmosphere and the location of the restaurant is perfect for the people who live in Clacton, Holland on Sea, Frinton and Walton on Naze. There is big car park so no need to worry for your cars. Prices of the food is very very reasonable and the portions of the food is big so that you can share with your family as well.

I have been here a few times on banquet night. The food has always been really nice and good value for money as you get a four course for a set price. The only negative is I felt a bit rushed because they are obviously very busy on banquet nights and want to get customers in and out as quickly as possible. Overall the service is good and staff are polite and friendly. Would definitely return here.

Went to this restaurant on a whim when visiting a local spa and was not disappointed.

We were staying locally and found this restaurant by chance, we happened to be there on a Tuesday night (£16.95 for 5 courses) and had a GREAT dinner. We will DEFINITELY go back when next in the area .
