Mossel & Gin | Seafood Westerpark is a lively seafood food-bar at the iconic Westergasfabriek, right in the heart of Westerpark. For over 10 years, locals and visitors have gathered here to celebrate fresh Dutch mussels, oysters and seafood, perfectly paired with creative Gin Tonics . As a go-to cocktail bar and restaurant at Westerpark, we serve playful cocktails, classics with twists, seasonal ‘lekkers’ and quality dishes for every taste. Enjoy borrel vibes, group dinners, events and private parties in an industrial-romantic setting, inside or on our large sunny terrace (heated in winter). My fourth time here, love the mussels, gin & tonic, and the oysters. I miss the lobster rolls tho. Welcoming staff and environment with great vibes. Love the lively atmosphere in the summer more but it’s still great in the winter.

The gin was good. I was hoping that the mussels were gonna be better than the first time I went there around 10 yrs ago. The portions are smaller, the flavours a bit underseasoned. Had the nduja flavour just for a change, but it’s probably better on a pizza. Next time, I’ll stick to the classic. Fries are still excellent.

Went for gin and oyster happy hour, had to wait 50 minutes for the oyster to arrive and we weren’t allowed to order any more because they “ran out”. Oysters were great once they arrived. They offered us free Gin and Tonics as an apologies. While we didnt have the best experience I would try it out again to see if they can deliver

A cozy and hidden sort of restaurant with specific different flavors of mussels served, located inside Westerpark. They have different Gin&Tonic options. We can put this place next to touristic restaurants in the city in terms of price, and ambience. Their fish burgers are tasty and so mussels with the truffle sauce. rices are slightly above the average, since they are serving seafood. staff are helpful and friendly, service speed is neither fast nor slow. Overall a pretty location for a date or a friend group. There is congestion at the toilet since cabins are limited and not practical to enter.

loved the place, great energy. The mussels were very good, I got the roquefort one with fries and it was delicious. Service was also very good even though we had to wait a little to get our drinks but it was rush time so it’s understandable and we got offered a free desert in compensation which we appreciated. Will definitely come back

The mussels were fresh, the Thai sauce was very good, but I’m not so good in eating mussels by hand so I get extremely dirty. It’s really not their fault.

I went to Mossel & Gin on a super warm day. We ordered oysters and mussels, which they said were from the Netherland sea. The mussels tasted incredibly strong, juicy, and salty, quite different from what you get in Bangkok. We tried the beer and classic mussels, both of which were really good and fresh despite the heat. The overall vibes were great, with beautiful people and super refreshing gin. The waitstaff were very nice and super helpful.

This restaurant combines 2 of my favorite things: mussels and gin tonics. We had mussels in several kinds of sauce and Gin tonics and the whole dining experience was amazing! I loved the Roquefort mussels as well as the fries. Also, the combination of gin and mussels is absolutely brilliant!! I highly recommend this place.
