We stayed the weekend and stopped into Mossbacks Island Grill and The Fishbowl Bar.
This bar was the perfect spot for a chill evening. The bartender was super friendly and made some amazing drinks.
The fish was delicious, and the portions were great! The whole place has a great, laid-back vibe, and I felt right at home.
I’m definitely coming back here next time I’m in town.
(Make sure to get a Fish bowl.. U won’t regret it!)

The food was very good but some in my party mentioned their portions were small. The waiter was alright, not overly friendly. Great location.

The fried walleye fillet , fried shrimp, and fries were seasoned and cooked extremely well. The hostess and server were very nice and friendly. We’d definitely go again.

Went here for lunch. Our server was McLovin. That’s the one with no personality. Anyways food took a loooong time to get to our table.
In the meantime we ordered a fishbowl. Tasted like watered down Gatorade. Manager assured us there was alcohol in it and it comes from a tap. Hard to believe but whatever. She said so. So we aren’t gonna argue. Just would not order it again. Ever.
Anyways after a half hour McLovin’ said our food was almost done. Then came back and told us it wasn’t. So after almost 45 minutes food came out. It was ok. Not terrible. But ok. Don’t know why the food took so long. Only a few people in the place. Whatever.

I ordered the broghtwerst with pierogi, and the person I was with ordered the walleye with pierogi. The walleye was fried so it tasted like every other fried fish which was disappointing. The broghtwerst was good but the pierogi just tasted like cheap Mrs. T’s pirogis just fried. Overall this place was extraordinarily disappointing. They did give Andes mints with the check though, unfortunately the highlight of the meal.

We came after Labor Day and during the week, so the island was quiet. We got excellent service and the food was AMAZING. Captain’s Platter with Walleye, Perch, and fries. The breding was fantastic – light and flavorful. Great portion of both types of fish. Highly recommend.

What a fun bar and grill! Highly recommended for the live music and beverages on the left side and great food on the right side in the restaurant. We had so much fun that we went two days in a row. The musicians and bar staff were outstanding! You have to do the shark shots as they were so much fun as a group. On the restaurant side we had the walleye bites and yellow perch sandwiches minus the buns. So fresh and tasty!
