This is such a cute bakery! I love the how home-y it feels when you walk in.
I came here on a Saturday afternoon & they weren’t very busy with two other customers sitting outside. They have indoor & outdoor seating but I opted for sitting inside.
Ordered 2 cookies – snickerdoodle & angel. The girl behind the counter sold me on the angel cookie, I asked what it was & she said that it was one of their best sellers and it literally melts in your mouth. Both cookies were yums, hit my sweet tooth craving.
Yes, they only take case which luckily I had the right amount on hand.
All in all, a cute bakery & I’ll be back!

Popular bakery and convenient location in downtown Oakdale. Ordered pastrami sandwich (they were out of a few meat options), a chef salad (again out of some options), and a cinnamon roll. Sandwich was fresh and tasty. Salad was mostly lettuce (wouldn’t recommend). Cinnamon roll was very good but had some undercook dough in the center (I didn’t mind!). I was bummed they didn’t give me the cookie that was supposed to come with my salad (didn’t notice until we drove off). I went on a Sat and there was a small farmer’s market which blocked the street but it’s easy to find parking a block away.

First time here and wanted to possibly get tea or coffee, staff was very unwelcoming. I asked about the chai tea how the sugar level was, he was not knowledgeable said “just comes how it is” I wanted to walk out, but I don’t like doing that to businesses. Just grabbed cash out the atm, bought my tea. Would help if they would mention it’s cash or check only before ringing people up. All he said “we have a sign by the door” never coming back to this place. Horrible customer service and make people feel unwelcomed.

Left without buying anything. The guy working was touching the food barehanded. I don’t know if he washed his hands first or not, but he could have grabbed the food using the tissue paper they have or tongs, gloves. He said they only take cash, so he’s been handling dirty money all day and then touching food. The guy was friendly but it grossed me out. Probably won’t be back.

The 1st time I came here was about 5 years ago, and loved everything about the little bakery. The pastry’s cakes and bread where delicious and not overly sugared and they had some very unique Italian cakes I had never seen anywhere else that were gorgeous and delicious and old family recipes. Since they closed down to remodel and reopened the decor is very cute and welcoming but all the baked goods are no longer good. Everything is super sugar coated with a sickening amount of cheap frosting, the bear claws no longer almond paste it tastes like almond extract sugar paste, and they no longer have all there unique family cakes. And the bread doesn’t have the same artisan taste and texture to them. And the people behind the counter are not as warm & welcoming as they used to be. It’s such a shame because since I have lived here I’ve been so excited to see them sprucing up this little block and making it more neighborhood friendly.

We had a fantastic experience with Moss Rose Bakery during our stop in Oakland. The atmosphere and service was super friendly, warm and welcoming. We could even chat with the owner who was so warm-hearted :))
We have had several bagels and cookies which tasted superb. The most outstanding however was the cinnamon roll.
