This is a brand new restaurant and they are so considerate and were very accommodating to me. I came in at 8pm and noticed that there were no other diners, which led me to believe I was the only patron of the evening. The owner and his family were all there waiting on me and expressed their gratitude. It was a LOT of food and they kept bringing injera even as I was loading my leftovers into a box. They were so eager to feed me. I talked with the owner about his 47 years in St Louis operating a liquor store that closed after the tornado, and how the restaurant is his new livelihood. They seem like lovely people and the food was some of the most flavorful Ethiopian food I have ever had! I got the 1 person sampler, which fed me and I have a takeout box full to the point of not staying closed with leftovers. I will be back!
