We are surprised by how good this place is and glad we still came to visit it though the Google rating is low for some reason?
We came for the amazing happy hour, 25% off for all small plates and beers.
They also got a really interesting Asian inspired cocktail menu! Both of the ones we got were amazing for tastes and the presentation!!!
All the food we got were also super good!! Our favorites are the pork belly baos, karage, fried cauliflower, and the tonkatsu ramen! I really like the texture and width of the ramen noodles and the broth!
Overall we loved it and will definitely come back!!!!

The food was really solid ramen with some great Japanese whiskey options. Lots of awesome Japanese art and collectibles around. Staff is nice and friendly. I got the tonkatsu ramen and it was expected standard. The broth was delicious and not too salty.

Loved this place. The Birria ramen was definitely unique. Karage was yum with the dipping sauce too. Never had a spam Musubi and loved it. Definitely a good place to go to when in Tacoma. Seen a yakisoba with egg and hope to try it the next time there.

Cute Japanese restaurant. The seating in my opinion seems too close for comfort. We were seated near the entrance and I felt crowded in. We sat at a table where I didn’t feel I could sit across from my family because if I did, I’d feel like I was in the way of the walk way.

Anyways, about the food I really liked the Pork Belly Bao and my fried tofu. My family also liked their food. We also ordered desserts. We ordered some Mochi (we ordered four different flavors) and chocolate moose. They tasted good. Nothing to really rave about. The bar though was awesome, lots of drink choices which was unexpected.

The service was nice, our server was super friendly which made our experience even better. When the food and service is good the experience is a lot better. Kudos to our server.

Nice restaurant! We got the spicy beef dumplings as an appetizer and they were wonderful, much spicer than I expected though. They were nice and tangy, a sweet and sour sort of taste. I had the birria ramen as an entree and it was good, though nothing special. It wasn’t any more flavorful than other ramens I had, although I did like that it wasn’t overly salty as a lot of birria ramens are. It wasn’t spicy at all though which was a little disappointing, but I enjoyed it.
The service is great, food came out fast and our waitress was super sweet. The inside is clean and really cute! Manga panels on the tables, although they have stains even while being clean. Would recommend!

A very solid fusion ramen restaurant. Tried out the birria, tantan, and toasted scallion. Tantan was the best of the bunch.

Across the board the flavors were not as strong as the authentic dish inspirations. The portions were a bit undersized overall as well for the price, I would expect additional toppings or noodles at most other places. We each ended up with a significant amount of broth leftover really highlighting that to us.

Overall a perfectly fine ramen joint, these qualms were mostly nit-picking. They bring many interesting flavors and fusions, only wish they truly emphasized those flavors.

The staff was very friendly, attentive, and quick with everything.

Really enjoyed this place!

They made me a Mocktail as there wasn’t any on the menu, quick service, fast kitchen times. The spicy cauliflower dish was amazing. Ramen and my noodle dish very nice! It was pretty busy actually when I was there, parking was found a couple of blocks away. Waitress was solid and made a really funny joke.

First time here and dang these dishes are great! Picked up the Smoked Salmon Rangoons for the app with the sweet chili sauce.

The Black Garlic Steak on a bed of Basil Pea Puree was perfectly cooked and just melts so smoothly on every bite. Also the Pork Belly Yakisoba was extremely filling and flavorful!

This place was so delicious! The shrimp toast was my favorite thing I ate! Also, the short ribs in the ramen were so tender and tasty. They had different anime shows playing which was so fun and went with the anime decor in the restaurant.
