We came for Valentine’s Dinner, mostly because it was one of the few places that were still accepting reservations. Our waitress was friendly and pretty attentive. We started with the Chicken Kara-age, it had a nice kick and I like that it was lightly fried. The chicken was cooked very well, a solid 8/10. Both the Rumi and Tuna Love Roll were really good, I’d recommend either! Lastly we ended with the Cookie Dough Roll for dessert and it was okay, wasn’t sure what to expect but it was kind of hard to eat because the chocolate was hard. I wouldn’t recommend the dessert, but overall I’d recommend this place for dinner. The interior has a cozy and intimate feel.

Parking: street parking around the neighborhood and paid underground parking lots.

Atmosphere: beautiful lighting and decoration. Lovely simple table settings. Can be loud but easy to talk. Love to watch them make sushi at the bar!

Service: our waitress was kind, attentive, and quick.

Food: top tier quality! Everything was absolutely delicious down to the miso soup and spicy mayo. Decent selection of mocktails and long lists of alcoholic beverages. Hibiscus cooler was delicious but the blister in the sun was a little too floral for our taste.

Food ordered: miso soup, shrimp tempura, green bean tempura, gyoza, crunchy California roll, rainbow roll, spider roll, hibiscus cooler, and blister in the sun.

Moshi Moshi is a great sushi place in Ballard. The place was nice and clean with a good layout and the service was really good. They had some specialty rolls which were great. This was the first time I had sake in a box and I have to say it’s not my favorite. But still a fun experience. Overall, the sushi was delicious and we really enjoyed our meal. The place was kid friendly as they had some crayons and paper for the kids. Nice sushi restaurant in a nice location.

I absolutely loved this sushi place. The staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience feel welcoming from start to finish.
The food was excellent. Everything tasted fresh, beautifully prepared, and thoughtfully presented.
I will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates great sushi and attentive service.

Food was good, though I wish we got a different side. The karaage reminded me of popcorn chicken I microwaved as a kid and didn’t really go with the sauce.

Otoro was solid, got the salmon skin roll and the moshi moshi roll. I think their specialty rolls are better (the other rolls are super simple) and service was alright. It’s a fun place to go in the Ballard area for a bite after walking around!

Great restaurant with a really nice atmosphere, nice selection of food and drink. The calamari was great and the dish was quite large. Service was friendly and attentive. Some of the sushi could have been fresher but overall the meal was very good.

The izakaya vibe and overall atmosphere was great. Spent $150 with drinks and tip for two. We ate well.

After a friend recommended Moshi Moshi, we were holding high hopes for their sushi. They delivered some wonderful rolls, the services was kind, and definitely worth the ballard parking (iykyk).

Looking forward to visiting again soon!

Food was amazing! Although, the servers weren’t great. We were moved to a different area after we were seated because one of us did not have an ID. I mean why seat us in the bar area without checking the ID in the first place. The waiter took 15 mins to get us a menu. The seating was tight and close to other people where you could overhear other people.

Food: Spicy edamame were okay. The Rumi roll was amazing and is a must!!
