We stumbled on this wonderful place while out for our friend’s 40th birthday. Paul was amazing and took very good care of us. He was knowledgeable of the menu and was very helpful in finding something I could enjoy being celiac. Paul made our entire night out a perfect one. The food was beyond delicious, the drinks were amazing and the service was top notch. Thank you Paul for making our Sunday night birthday dinner one to remember.

Absolutely Delicious – A True Gem in Camp Verde!
Moscato Italian Restaurant is an absolute delight and a must-visit in Camp Verde. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming and authentic, but what truly made the experience special was Mr. Juan Carlos. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making sure we had a perfect dining experience. His recommendations were spot-on and made us feel like valued guests, not just customers.
The food was outstanding—rich flavors, perfectly prepared, and clearly made with care and high-quality ingredients. Every bite was comforting, flavorful, and truly Italian. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve.
Between the delicious food, warm hospitality, and excellent service, Moscato delivers an experience that goes beyond just a meal—it feels like dining with family. We will absolutely be back and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting or living in Camp Verde.
Thank you, Mr. Juan Carlos, for making our visit unforgettable!

I have been here 2 times, each time was extremely enjoyable. The food, staff, and atmosphere of the restaurant are top tier. The pasta is hand made and they have some pretty good house/chef specials depending on when you go.

We were in the area camping for a week to enjoy the beautiful hiking here. We walked into Moscato without a reservation and got their last table. Beautiful and calm atmosphere. Our waiter Paul was the best! The food was absolutely delicious! I must admit we haven’t spent that much on a meal in a very long time and usually only on special occasions. But it was well worth it. We will return when we come back to this area of Arizona.

Our company had a large party here recently. We sat outside and the service was amazing! I was constantly teasing the waiter whom was very pleasant. I didn’t get his name but he hooked me up with the mocktails and gave our table great laughs and honest detailed descriptions of items on the menu for us to make our choices. I had the Al pomodoro and it was amazing! Will definitely go back! For jokes that mocktail felt like it was as big as a fish bowl and I was given a boba straw, I could not get over it, definitely treated like a princess!

What a great food find. The service was spot on and Paul the waitstaff was fabulous taking care of our dinner service. Very knowledgeable about the vast wine list. Recommended a Valpolicella Ripasso from northern Italy. We had a starter of calamari which was succulent, tender and the red sauce was just the right touch. I ordered the the new York strip steak with roasted potatoes and onion garnished with asparagus and grilled tomatoes.. When the steak came out the smell was so amazing. The New York strip was a little chewy but well seasoned. This dinner service and the level of execution of the entire dinner experience was fabulous and look forward to coming back!

What a pleasant surprise!! As we embarked on our journey from the Phoenix airport towards Page, AZ, we were in desperate need of dinner. A quick, discerning search yielded Moscato Italian Restaurant. We pulled in to the sleepy town on a Sunday evening and upon entering the doors to the restaurant, it was evident that the attention to detail began with the decor. It was exquisite from the unique chandeliers to the heavy wood doors. We were greeted, despite not having a reservation, like we were old friends. The server provided excellent recommendations and the very interesting back story for Chef Moscato. Our dinner was scrumptious. We began with the calamari. It was fresh and flash fried just right. I had the zuppa di mare, seasoned to perfection. My family had the bolognese and alfredo – with no complaints.

A Perfect Anniversary Dinner at Moscato Italian Restaurant
We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Moscato Italian Restaurant, and the entire experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, Mr. Juan Carlos greeted us with warmth and genuine hospitality. He was wonderful to talk to and set the tone for an unforgettable evening.
Chef Salvatore absolutely blew us away with his menu. Every dish was crafted with care, bursting with authentic Italian flavor, and beautifully presented. You can feel the passion and artistry in his cooking — it turned our dinner into a true culinary experience.
Our server, Tanner, was fantastic. Attentive without being intrusive, friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making our night special. He struck that perfect balance that elevates a great meal into an unforgettable one.
Moscato made our anniversary feel truly special. We left full, happy, and already talking about when we’ll be back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for outstanding food, exceptional service, and a place that knows how to make a celebration feel magical.

Service was terrible!! Please hire more wait staff or control the amount of people you accept for sitting/reservations. To wait over an hour and half for food is poor service. We realize that there are other tables to wait on, but you would think that then our waiter would be more on top of atleast checking in on their tables making sure to give the option of getting more bread or beverages. The food was ok, but not worth what we paid. Definitely would try a different fine dining restaurant elsewhere or drive to Sedona!
