I chose the lamb shank curry which was amazing, the spice is Canadian so I was able to order the spice exactly as needed. To drink I had the Rosebud Juice (strawberry, ginger, and apple I believe) it was delicious!!
My spouse ordered the fish and chips which was cooked nicely and wasn’t too oily.
For dessert we had the pistachio Gulab Jamun. It wasn’t too sweet, it was hard a nice crunch and was nicely presented.
In order to get our bill we did have to call him over but there was no rushing and it was 20 to closing time.
The food was beyond amazing!! We tried the steak and eggs wings, the biryani, the tacos and more and every single dish was packed with flavor and made with so much care. The naan was incredible and the berry smoothie was fresh and delicious, everything just felt thoughtful and intentional
The service was just as wonderful as the food and the prices are more than fair for the quality you get. The owners are truly special people and it shows in every detail. This is hands down the best restaurant on the island and I cannot recommend it enough, we will definitely be back again and again!!
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, striking the perfect balance between modern and cozy. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine hospitality that made us feel right at home.
The food, however, is what truly blew us away. Every dish was fresh, vibrant, and bursting with flavor—you can tell the chefs put passion and creativity into everything they serve. Our son loved his meal just as much as we did, which is no small feat! The menu had something for everyone, and each plate was beautifully presented.
Service was attentive without being intrusive, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure our family had a wonderful experience.
It’s rare to find a restaurant that excels in atmosphere, service, and food all at once, but Mosaic Kitchen and Bar absolutely delivers. A true gem in Duncan—we’ll definitely be back, and I can’t recommend it enough!
We ordered the naan bread tacos “nancos”, which I thought came with a side of mango salsa, but they actually didn’t have a side–it was on the tacos.
Mosaic considers these an appetizer, which we only discovered upon being served.
However, they were delicious, and we really enjoyed them. But two of those and we were still hungry…
Plenty of parking arrived the front, side and back of restaurant. Decor was interesting.
this place is an absolute gem! New to duncan and run by the sweetest couple, the food was stellar and we tried two of their fresh pressed juices (hummingbird and rosebud) both were delicious and revitalizing!
We tried a basic Benny (hollandaise was on point, and the Pico was fresh and really paired beautifully!)
We also had the green toast, and wow! Grilled peaches were a surprising touch! Yum!
We had such a wonderful breakfast here, please do yourself a favor and try. Reasonably priced for excellent food and service. Cannot rave enough.
Prices are mostly fair for the area—though I found the fruit drinks a bit overpriced. Still, most of the menu offers good value for what you get.
Service was friendly and flexible. We even heard staff accommodating a special off-menu request for another table, which was a nice touch. One thing I loved: each table has a little bell button you can press when you’re ready to order or get the check. No flagging anyone down, and no unnecessary interruptions during your meal. Genius.
As for the food:
• Mac and Cheese Special – So much gooey cheese, with an amazing cheese pull. Total comfort food.
• Butter Chicken Poutine – Squeaky cheese curds, rich flavor, not overly spicy but still bold.
• Chicken Ranch Poutine – My husband’s pick, and the chicken was super crispy and clearly freshly fried.
Mosaic is a solid addition to Duncan’s dining scene. We’ll definitely be back, and if you like casual eats done well, this place is worth a visit.
Charming and friendly service. Great prices. Cute buttons on the table to call for service.
Officially our new favourite restaurant!!
You immediately feel welcome, and once your nose gets a whiff of the delights the chef is cooking up in the back (you know you are in for a fantastic meal).
Mosaic has a wide variety of Indian fusion dishes that offer something for everyone; from Tacos to Pasta to Curries/Biriyani’s and Burgers. Each and every dish will leave you satiated and walking out with a grin on your face.
*Seriously though, the tenderness of the meats and the freshness of the smoothies and other dishes; paces meals I have had that were easily 3x the price.
*It is clear the chef’s passion and love for food has been passed on to each and every dish he puts out.
I heavily recommend you come to this restaurant, it is easily one of Duncan’s best of the best!
