The service was really good. We were greeted with a smile and informed about the call button. We used the button a couple of times and was still served with a smile.
I chose the lamb shank curry which was amazing, the spice is Canadian so I was able to order the spice exactly as needed. To drink I had the Rosebud Juice (strawberry, ginger, and apple I believe) it was delicious!!
My spouse ordered the fish and chips which was cooked nicely and wasn’t too oily.
For dessert we had the pistachio Gulab Jamun. It wasn’t too sweet, it was hard a nice crunch and was nicely presented.
In order to get our bill we did have to call him over but there was no rushing and it was 20 to closing time.

WOW WOW WOW this place is truly something special!! An absolute gem in Duncan and run by the kindest, warmest owners you could ever meet. From the second we walked in we felt so welcomed and cared for, you can genuinely feel the love they pour into this restaurant. I’ve travelled through so many provinces and cities and honestly have never experienced anything like this before
The food was beyond amazing!! We tried the steak and eggs wings, the biryani, the tacos and more and every single dish was packed with flavor and made with so much care. The naan was incredible and the berry smoothie was fresh and delicious, everything just felt thoughtful and intentional
The service was just as wonderful as the food and the prices are more than fair for the quality you get. The owners are truly special people and it shows in every detail. This is hands down the best restaurant on the island and I cannot recommend it enough, we will definitely be back again and again!!

The food, however, is what truly blew us away. Every dish was fresh, vibrant, and bursting with flavor—you can tell the chefs put passion and creativity into everything they serve. Our son loved his meal just as much as we did, which is no small feat! The menu had something for everyone, and each plate was beautifully presented.
Service was attentive without being intrusive, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure our family had a wonderful experience.

Brrrrrrr… We found the restaurant to be on the chilly side, so waiting to eat was not completely comfortable. And then the service wasn’t very quick, so that compounded our discomfort.
We ordered the naan bread tacos “nancos”, which I thought came with a side of mango salsa, but they actually didn’t have a side–it was on the tacos.
Mosaic considers these an appetizer, which we only discovered upon being served.
However, they were delicious, and we really enjoyed them. But two of those and we were still hungry…

this place is an absolute gem! New to duncan and run by the sweetest couple, the food was stellar and we tried two of their fresh pressed juices (hummingbird and rosebud) both were delicious and revitalizing!
We tried a basic Benny (hollandaise was on point, and the Pico was fresh and really paired beautifully!)
We also had the green toast, and wow! Grilled peaches were a surprising touch! Yum!
We had such a wonderful breakfast here, please do yourself a favor and try. Reasonably priced for excellent food and service. Cannot rave enough.

The service was very good, we liked our butter chicken tacos and the garlic naan was super yummy. However, the curry was disappointing, tasted burned and the lamb wasn’t soft, like you expect. The tandoori platter was not impressive either, the fish wasn’t marinated or it didn’t get the flavour in the meat, the chicken was tolerable. The rice tasted stale and reheated, it was that bad. We think it was a waste of money and don’t recommend it, at least for the dishes we tried. Won’t come back

Prices are mostly fair for the area—though I found the fruit drinks a bit overpriced. Still, most of the menu offers good value for what you get.
Service was friendly and flexible. We even heard staff accommodating a special off-menu request for another table, which was a nice touch. One thing I loved: each table has a little bell button you can press when you’re ready to order or get the check. No flagging anyone down, and no unnecessary interruptions during your meal. Genius.
As for the food:
• Mac and Cheese Special – So much gooey cheese, with an amazing cheese pull. Total comfort food.
• Butter Chicken Poutine – Squeaky cheese curds, rich flavor, not overly spicy but still bold.
• Chicken Ranch Poutine – My husband’s pick, and the chicken was super crispy and clearly freshly fried.
Mosaic is a solid addition to Duncan’s dining scene. We’ll definitely be back, and if you like casual eats done well, this place is worth a visit.

The Almond ball curry from Mosaic is possibly the best curry I’ve ever tasted (and I’ve had a lot in both UK and Canada). The sesame onion cilantro naan was also delicious. Rose yoghurt lassi was sooo good (not too sweet) and the pistachio gulab jamun was a very tasty and unique sweet to share at the end of our meal. My son (aged 18 and a bit of a foodie) was blown away by it all too although he actually preferred my almond ball curry to his own butter chicken. Medium spice level was a good “white-person” spice level for us.

I had a great experience at this restaurant. I tried the dumplings and a fresh juice, and both were excellent. The dumplings were perfectly cooked, soft, and full of flavor, and you could really taste how fresh the ingredients were. The juice was refreshing and made fresh, which made the meal even better. Everything felt high quality and delicious.
