Reviews
Both are excellent here, not to mention the homemade tortillas being made on a machine right in front of the kitchen. Lovely, crisp, fresh, and thin.
I had chicken flautas….oh my. Heavenly. I thought I had too much on my plate to finish however the flautas convinced me otherwise. I was told by the manager that everything here is fresh and not from a can. Once you dine here you’ll know it’s true. Not that they use only fresh tomatoes to make their hot sauce, but maybe?
When we get there was busy we wait about 15min to get sit. But after that food come out fast. Nubia recommend hot chocolate with coffee that was so good. I get the plate number #7 that was an enchilada with tamale, beans and white eggs, with fresh hand made tortillas that they just made at the end of the room where everyone can see it. My family gets cheese omelette, chorizo with cheese omelette, pancakes, chilaquiles with black beans and eggs and menudo. Everything was on point. We definitely recommend and we are going back.
Will be back.
However, we ended up waiting about an hour for the rest of our food, and when it arrived, several items weren’t quite right. The cheese inside the enchiladas was cold and hard, the enchiladas con crema were mostly sour cream inside the tortilla, and the green corn tamale was very dry.
I understand restaurants can get busy especially on Saturday and Sunday, but this being our first visit, it was disappointing that the food and service didn’t meet expectations. I truly hope this feedback helps improve future guest experiences.
We had a table of 4 adults and two kinds
under 2.
I enjoyed the huevos rancheros with refried beans and an accompanying flour tortilla.
Additionally I enjoyed a side order of chips and salsa and an ice water with lemon.
My bill was under $16.
Food was hot fresh and delicious the service was impeccable.
Would highly recommend.
4 other tables occupied when I got here.
Since I had an hour for lunch, figured would have plenty of time.
Was given chips and salsa after ordering which was a good thing, because it took 40 min to get food.
Pork loin good
Carne asada tasteless tough shoe leather
Enchiladas and relleno fine
Much better options in town
