This is probably the most worthwhile Mo’s location. Same clam chowder, but you can add it to a nice visit to the park. I visited around lunch time on a Friday. There was enough parking. I toured the area for a bit and grabbed a bowl of chowder. Service was fast. There are seats inside and outside with a nice view.

A cool little spot, we came to see the devils punch bowl(or devils something ) and got the bonus of this tasty spot and catching some Wale sightings. You walk up and oder at the counter before sitting. We got a spread, cause we wanted to try it all, so worth it! Clam chowder was creamy and delicious and the fish and chips where on point, great sauce!

Convenient little place right by Devils Punchbowl. Got the breaded cod fish & chips. The fries were awesome, the fish was a little dry, overcooked. Service was there, just ok. Dining in the fresh open air on a warm day was nice.

Mo’s Seafood & Chowder is a cute little diner, It’s right by the Devil’s Punch Bowl. We got there a bit early, so we waited for it to open. But when it did, we went in, and it looked really nice inside. We sat down, and I got the clam chowder bowl for $8.95. You should totally check it out if you’re ever at the Devil’s Punch Bowl.

The greatest advantage of this place is that you can warm up from the cold wind and sit in a cozy spot while enjoying the outside scenery. However, although MO’s Clam Chowder boasts a long tradition of being the best chowder, to be honest, it is just average. The taste varies between Newport, Florence, and other locations. The ratio of clams is not as good as when I cook at home, and instead of seasoning with the natural saltiness that comes from the main ingredients, they use more table salt, which always makes me very thirsty after having the soup. The price might seem a bit high, but considering the size and amount of the bowl, it is reasonable. With cheese bread on the side, it was enough for a lunch meal. It made me think it would be nice if they had draft beer on tap here.

Our family has been visiting the Oregon Coast and Mo’s West at Otter Rock since the 80’s, from WA, the Valley and as far away as Arizona! It’s become a family tradition that now includes grandchildren and even a great grandchild. The last visit was very special as it was my daughter “Mo’s”, (short for Monique) birthday! It was a very special to meet here again as a family and share it with her teen age son, cousins and extended family! Great food, great service, amazing location and views and some of the best tide pools around as it is a preserve!! Also a very clean and sandy beach and hiking trails. It has everything! I am now a local, so am happy to be able to visit anytime! Thanks Mo’s!!

The food was absolutely amazing, and you can’t beat the location. Prices are higher than expected but given the location it is understandable. What you see in the images is $40.

Honestly one of the best environments I’ve been in at a restaurant. The food was amazing and the service was very prompt and polite. One of the most scenic places as well, prices was a bit steep but to me more than worth it.

this is a simple, no-frills spot, but their clam chowder is wonderful. you really can’t go wrong here. the best part is it’s walking distance to the devil’s punch bowl, so if you get cold by the sea, you can warm right up with a hot cup of soup from this here!
