Such a disappointing breakfast. Eggs were okay. Bacon fatty and not flavorful. Potatoes were horrible. Not flavored and huge chunks of black.looked like brownies. I usually try hard to leave positive reviews, but go elsewhere with your high hopes for breakfast

I had a great experience this morning at PDX Mo’s. They seemed to be short-handed but were very pleasant and quick to serve. I tried clam chowder on biscuits for the first time and LOVE it!

I showed up early for my flight to have lunch here. The fish and beer were good but the customer service experience was pretty disappointing. Only one person cooking and one person working the front (Friday at Noon). I waited 15 minutes to place my order, with only 3 people in front of me. I ordered the halibut and chips, subbing in chowder for the chips, as well as a beer. 10 minutes later my order was ready. She had forgotten the beer until I reminded her, which is an honest mistake. But she informed me that the chowder would take another 20-25 minutes to warm up and be ready for me. I had already waited 25 minutes up to this point and couldn’t wait that amount of time again (this is an airport, I naturally have a flight to catch). She offered to refund me the upcharge for the chowder, but not the entire charge for the (nonexistent) side. So I paid $20.95 for two small pieces of halibut, before tip (and $6.75 for the beer). I’m sad to say I don’t think I’ll be returning.

Stopped by Mo’s for lunch. It was good, scratched the itch for some seafood before I head back to a landlocked state. I like to live dangerously before a flight. Haha.
The staff were super friendly and answered all my questions I had regarding the menu before I ordered.
I ordered a Mo’smosa, super tasty, and the fish tacos. The fish were grilled and taste fresh. The slaw is a nice pairing with it. Though I had to remove some slaw to keep the fish in the taco.

The breaded shrimp are very good I quite enjoy them. The French fries are all right. The Coca-Cola has a lot of flavor which I appreciate. You to wait for a bit for your breaded shrimp but not to long.

Didn’t get to try MO’s in Portland so I thought I would give their airport location a try. Should be the same, just a little pricier I assumed. Well the soup was ok, but tasted more like potato soup than clam chowder. Hardly any clams in my soup either. Only good thing is the prices in the Portland airport are nothing like the prices at LAX, so not a big loss. I did also pick up their frozen soup base which travelled well even though they don’t have plastic bags to catch the sweat from the defrosting, but they did double bag it in paper for me. I can always add my own clams to the base, so not too upset. Oh well.

This might be one of the best seafood restaurants I’ve ever tried. The chain has several locations, but this one offers a more limited menu, likely due to its airport setting. Despite this, the prices are surprisingly fair, and some items were even cheaper than what’s listed on the website, which was a pleasant surprise given the typical airport markups. The food quality was excellent—I got a mixed plate, and the shrimp was absolutely the highlight, perfectly cooked and flavorful. Their homemade tartar sauce was a standout as well, adding a fresh and zesty kick to the meal.
Although you have to eat at the food court tables, the quality of the food makes up for it, and it’s a great option if you’re looking for something fresh and delicious while traveling. I’m eager to visit one of their other locations outside the airport to explore the full menu, as this experience has left me wanting more. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot for fresh seafood, and I highly recommend giving it a try if you have the chance.

This was great as usually you can never go wrong with the clam chowder! Some of the best around. This location has a lot less than the other locations. The burrito was good but not great! Just get the clam chowder and you won’t be sorry! They weren’t the fastest but far from the slowest so plan accordingly!

One should never expect anything great from airport food. However, one should expect decent service and getting what you ordered and paid for. I got neither and have no plan to ever return. It’s and airport, grab the food and go. An expensive breakfast burrito missing primary ingredients. Super slow and finally had to ask about my order. It was just sitting there waiting. Yo can do better at PDX.

Overall, the Mo’s brand is a good one, and I’ve had a bowl of clam chowder at several locations. Glad to get one last one before flying out. However, I’ll join a number of other airport Mo’s reviewers to say there isn’t much clam in the clam chowder. It’s more of a potato soup than anything. Good value on the beer though.
