My husband and I came in today for the first time to get lunch, and we are so glad we did! The food is so fresh and delicious, and the service is fantastic. We each had a platter of jerk chicken, rice, vegetables and plantains. The serving size is very filling. We also got beef patties to go, and those were equally enjoyable. We will definitely be back!

This place does not disappointing. I really love their oxtail. It’s so flavorful and you get a pretty good portion! The owner is also always so pleasant and welcoming. If you’re in the area, you have to give this place a try. You can tell she puts a lot of love into what she does.
Had to come back and update my review. I recently had their chicken soup and beef patties… OMG sooo good. The soup had generous chunks of veggies and chicken and was perfect for getting over a cold. The beef patties were obviously fresh, not frozen, so flaky and full of flavor.

Mo is incredibly kind, answers all your questions. I love the plantain party, made special with a beautiful pink color inside. Please get their beef stew. I visited this restaurant a few weeks ago and it was a wonderful experience. Mo was very pleasant and eager/happy to share her offerings for the day with me, the service was sweet. The restaurant was beautifully decorated to provide a nice island-like atmosphere. Food was fresh, delicious, authentic and not too spicy – just the way I like it. I had the oxtails which melted in my mouth and the plantain tart which was a nice sweet and balanced treat that I never tried before. Both are a must try! Definitely a great spot if you’re in the area 🙂
