I have heard good things about this place and decided to try it out. I really wanted the turkey burger; however, they no longer have it as an option. It was replaced with a chicken patty. I was disappointed with them not having what I wanted but that turned around because the food was really good.
I ended up getting a turkey sandwich with eggplant fries. We also got fried cheese sticks as well. My husband got a cheese burger with cajun fries. I will definitely go back to try some other items on the menu.

Today was our second trip to Morvant’s. The last was 2018 on our first trip to Louisiana. It seems that they’ve grown and improved. We each had a fried shrimp po’ boy – nothing fancy, but it was fantastic! It’s a down home, small town restaurant that is damn good at what they do.

Cool old bar and grill with probably the best burger I’ve ever had! Juicy, tasty, enormous and very reasonably priced. Onion rings were delicious too! Just awesome!

I went through the drive through and had a pickup order, I had a pretty standard order nothing too complicated. I asked for a burger without tomato’s because my family has a very bad allergy to tomatoes. They had tomatoes on it and I added pickles and they forgot. So I would say to check your order before leaving and make it very clear how you would like your order.

Food is great, but the staff is incredibly rude which makes me sad. Because this place was always wonderful food wise. I won’t be returning. The staff, especially the bartender could care less about the customers & it seems like a lot of dysfunction between the staff. Ugly attitudes and rolling their eyes at you. Go somewhere else like c’est bon’s or Tad’s.
