Everything was really good here. The fried squid and shrimp were so crispy and delicious, and the sashimi was very fresh and beautifully presented. The restaurant itself is also very nice with a modern interior. Great atmosphere and a great place to enjoy Japanese food. Would definitely come back!

A personal Fort Lee favorite Almost everything that I’ve gotten to try has been delicious and fresh.
My favorite is the bibimbap and the creamy shrimp appetizer, but the sushi sets & had rolls are also a great choice!
The food is phenomenal and the space is so well curated. However, if I can give one piece of feedback, I wish that the food for the table would come together. A lot of the time, main dishes are served at different times leaving some people to watch while the others are eating. I’ve noticed that this is a pretty consistent problem (not just for my own meals).
Definitely a local favorite and deserving of it!

I usually order take out from morí which is the hand roll set and in the box they are cut rolls and I have enjoyed it most of the time.
However, I wanted to give moru a try by dining in and i can say that the service was attentive and our waiter for very nice. But the food was not that great.
The appetizers were not good. We ordered the potato salad which was dry and flavorless , it looked like they sprinkled bacon bits from the grocery store on top.
The spicy tuna crispy rice was a HUGE disappointment. I have never seen gooey soft soft when the dish clearly says crispy rice! The tuna itself was good and the sauce tbh pour on top.
KFC was disgusting! It taste like cheap general taos chicken. The chicken was mushy and stringy , it was drowned in super sweet sauce. It truly was a let down.
My handroll set was good and my husband enjoyed his premium sushi set.
Dessert was mediocre. The tiny cheesecake was just okay. Overall i can tell this restaurant uses a lot of sauces to cover up the food and it’s a let down.

Went here for a valentine’s date night meal and it was amazing. The servers were very attentive and the meals were from another world. I had the set of four hand rolls and they were so full of flavor and freshness. I also had the age tofu which was delightfully seasoned and large enough for two.
My partner had the basil pasta which was no joke. For a restaurant where you expect noodles and ramen this was a heavy hitter that anyone interested in trying should try. I opted for the beef undong and the broth was so light and sweet. The beef was plentiful and the noodles were perfect.
I also had a lychee sparkling water and that also tasted so fresh and delicious.
I will definitely have to try the rest of the menu next time I am around the area. Top stars.

Great clean Japanese-Korean fusion restaurant. The seating is limited so make sure to go before/after rush! The set/platter options are decent and if you’d rather have sushi they have separated options as well. I do really recommend their crispy rice spicy tuna. Check prices before you go! Pretty pricey especially for the combo options.

This restaurant is a great spot for fresh, elegant, authentic fusion of Japanese and Korean food. The most unique for me was the sashimi bibimbap and it was delicious. Also got the hand roll set and all 4 of them were really good. The creamy shrimp tempura was also a wonderful dish. Overall very happy with the food and service, though its on the pricey side. The restaurant is pretty small, right in a corner. Parking is street parking so it may be difficult at times. Would definitely come back again!

Probably one of my best dining experiences. Everything in their menu was exceptional. The appetizers were so yummy and the hand rolls were so fresh and worth it. It was my first time trying to toasted green tea. That was a nice treat plus a dessert. So glad I found this hidden gem that was in plain sight.

Moru has delicious fresh sushi & sashimi. Definitely get the sushi set and Moru Don for dinner. Also loved the spicy blue crab handroll. Service is fantastic, Harry our server was extremely attentive & took care of us. Will be back!

Been here a few times and the food is always solid. The lunch sets are a great deal and I usually get the Moru Don — never disappoints.
Tried the premium sushi set and the nabe this time, everything was fresh and well balanced. The motsu hot pot broth was really clean and flavorful, not too salty.

Absolutely loved this restaurant! The sashimi was top-notch—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices felt very reasonable for the quality. The environment was clean and comfortable, perfect for a relaxed meal. Service was warm and efficient. I left feeling very satisfied and already looking forward to my next visit. A hidden gem!
