Absolutely love this place for martinis!!! So many options. This is a very poplar spot. There is a cover charge. Sometimes a wait/line sometimes you get right in. Seating can be tricky when they are busy. Free , great drinks, always has live music.

Half price Martinis on Mondays and live music too?? Yes please! It is a great way to start your week off with your besties and not break the bank at the same time! The people watching is always fun here and people are very nice and engaging! Take the time to sit outside in their heated covered area and enjoy a cigar while you are at it!

We love Mort’s! We love the variety of live music that they have every day, and they probably have the biggest list of martinis in town. They do offer a few snacks, including free popcorn, and some to purchase like chips and salsa, a charcuterie and cheese board, and spinach artichoke dip to name a few they also have a good selection of beers and hard liquor, and for those who smoke cigars, they have a great variety of those as well. For those who don’t like being around the smoke, they have plenty of tables inside that are non-smoking. The outside patio is covered and heated in the winter, with large fans to keep it cooler in the summer. The wait staff is fantastic! At Mort’s we share tables, so make new friends while you’re there. Because this is in the OldTown entertainment district, and not too far from Intrust Bank Arena, hotels, shops and restaurants, we do occasionally get celebrities that pop in while they are in town to enjoy the atmosphere. There are lots of local musicians that you will find performing on the patio here, as well as other touring musicians from around the country. If you don’t have a good time at Mort’s, that’s on you. It’s a great spot!

Having a lovely martini as I type this… This place is super cute with a huge outdoor covered patio — and tonight at least they have live music (the guy is great, his voice a little earthy and rich… And his covers are fresh and well thought out.) NOW… Back to the drinks… They have a rediculously huge and clever cocktail menu… Over 100 they tell me, not counting the seasonal offerings. You will have a hard time deciding what to order. There is also cigar menu too if that’s your thing. The food offerings are limited… Only a few bar snack sort of things — I did not try those. Also a great nostalgic old town location… This area should not be missed!

We spent a grand total of three minutes at Mort’s. I didn’t care that it was crowded; one expects a crowd on a Friday night. What I cared about was getting yelled at by two different servers for being in their way while they were trying to do their job. It was standing room only; where exactly should I have been when everyone is shoulder to shoulder?

Mort’s, I have been going there for years. And I always have a good time. The service sometimes can be a little slow. Tonight I was there. They had a band it can be very loud if you’re sitting out on the patio. The drinks are a little pricey. But they have a lot of choices.

Great bar!
We were on our USA road trip (Texas-Oklahoma-Kansas-Colorado) in May 2023 (unfortunately only) one day in Wichita – a great city with lovely people – and ended up in the evening at Mort’s – probably by a happy coincidence, because we heard the band play and then wanted to have a look.
It was an unforgettable evening: Great music, the band was intoxicating, we got into conversation with the nicest people, there was delicious cold beer, good white wine and we had a great (!) time.
The “Share the table” is really great.
The waiters were quick and super friendly, best thanks to Emma Johnson and her team!
So in short: An excellent location, great recommendation!
