AT 63 years old, I’ve eaten in a lot of places. None compare to the burgers you get at Mort’s! Exceptional portions, juicy and so incredibly favorable!!! A must stop if you’re in or traveling through Freeport!

Had one of the best cheeseburgers I have had in quite a while . Grilled to perfection with lettuce, tomato, onion, minus pickle, I preferred cheddar cheese and on toasted Texas toast.
It came with chips, as they have no deep fryer.
Jen made me a margarita, from scratch.

Came back a year later and it was just as I said. Got pics this time. Try anything made with Brick cheese its an Wisconsin legend and your less than an hour from the boarder.
Super laid back. Small town tavern with friendly patrons and a outgoing cook and bartender. Cold beer, Hot food that’s really good. The kitchens down at the end of the bar so you can see your food being made.

Your basic dated watering hole. Service was alright. I shouldn’t have to flag someone down for ketchup when I order a burger. Burger lacked flavor and the soup was horrible. Tasted burnt and wasn’t even luck warm. Has interesting memorabilia to gaze at and everyone that walks by will fill your beverage. But I definitely would never order food again. To each their own.
