I would like to thank Morton’s Steakhouse-Charlotte for making our anniversary such a memorable occasion! I thoroughly enjoyed the cuisine, service, and ambiance! The waitress was phenomenal with her menu recommendations and was such a delight (as were the servers). Everything from entrance to exit was amazing! It is almost a month later, and thinking about our anniversary dinner makes me so proud to have someone who cares about the small details. Thanks again for making the small details such a BIG DEAL.

The service was great! Our starters arrived quickly and was delicious. We had oyster Rockefeller and crab cakes. For my entree I had the Christopher chicken and my sisters had lobster ravioli and steak. Overall we enjoyed the restaurant and the food.

First food was amazing, nothing to be said about food but perfect, my low star rating is because Morton steakhouse meant to be for business people only or super rich, I went there for a special occasion with my family for my 15 years old daughter birthday , but once the waitress knew, we are not this type of people and we are not ordering any liquor or wine, we get a different treatment that we did not like even though our bill was almost $500 and I still give her her 20% gratuity, because I wouldn’t blame her that place set her up to serve that way, once again food is good atmosphere was amazing places nice and clean. It’s just the service and I wouldn’t go back.
But I have to say the waitress notice after we order that it will be a big bill so she changed her attitude towards us, and get us the birthday cake for free, and I still give her $100 tips in cash ,

My mom and I came here prior to going to see Wicked a few weeks ago. When we arrived we were told there was a wait for our table that we had reserved, which was fine as we assumed they were getting it situated. We waited at the bar. The bartender was patient while we figured out what to order; HIGHLY recommend the lavender cosmo.

Now, when we were told our table was ready we had a problem: walking and martini glasses are not a great combo. Initially, the hostess didn’t understand having someone bring our drinks to the table, but once we were handed off to a different host he handled our drink with ease.

So, why is my rating for service four stars? That comes down to our waitress. She was very nice but the service was lacking. It took awhile for her to check in for ordering our food and for receiving our check. In her defense, I think she had a large table she was managing with BUT she wore her stress on her sleeve.

In terms of atmosphere, the dress code is supposed to be business casual or smart casual attire. This dress code was…not enforced with several people in shorts, t-shirts, and hats.

Lastly the food: we got the wagyu filets with asparagus and fries. I’m not sure if this was our waitresses fault or whoever plated our dish but the steak was luke warm to room temperature. I love a good steak but for the price I was a bit disappointed.

I’ll likely give this place another shot at some point, but as it stands right now likely wont be going back any time soon.

This place has changed over the years and I hate that. My husband and I normally come every valentine day. This year I notice the menu was very short and the portions was sliced in half and the ingredients either changed or watered down. The price is still kind of expensive but as long as the food is good my husband ( manager at BMW) and I ( RN) in Sc dont mind paying for good food. The lobster and cheese macaroni used to be baked and I want to say with a crust. Now it’s a sauce and not baked with cheese and a little lobster meat on top. It was horrible. The lobster ravioli and the Waygu beef stroganoff are very small portions. I asked the waiter what portion size did I get and he confirmed it was the entree size. I sent it back and decided not to eat anything else. I was going to order the waygu beef stroganoff but was told the portion was the same. I hate this place has changed. I will never come back and I do not advise anyone else to come. I hate i didnt take a picture of the ravioli. So you all can see just how small the portion was. I did take a video of the watery lobster Mac and cheese. Please go somewhere else to spend your hard earned money. RIP Morton!

Where do I begin? We were completely ok with waiting 15 mins past our reservation time (it was Christmas). Upon being seated we immediately saw a couple sending their steaks back (which should have been a red flag). We decided to order the dumplings (the wagyu was beyond recognition, dry, and tasteless). Then we ordered the wedge salad. The dressing was goopy and extremely sweet. And there’s a difference between a wedge and a half of icebergs head of lettuce. We finally received our tomahawk steak (“medium”) which was inconsistently cooked. The flavor tasted burnt. It was terrible to see such an expensive large cut of steak treated so poorly. The “loaded” mashed potatoes looked like someone dropped them. The creamed spinach and the mushrooms were the only thing to save the incredibly bland and burnt cut of steak. Overall the experience left Morton’s feeling a poorly run sports bar. Other tables returned their food or got their food to-go because of the delayed service. It was disappointing to pay over $300 for such a terribly tasteless experience.

Food was cooked right but it was so bland. The mac and cheese was so dry and the potatoes and Mac and cheese tasted like it came out of a box.My kids love lemonade and they did not like the juice here. My steak was tender and cooked how I like it but it had no flavor. My husband ordered some ravioli stroganoff dish and he just forced himself to eat it.The server was not really welcoming. The ambiance was nice but it was so cold that we couldn’t get comfortable. All I wanted was a nice steak for my birthday but I should’ve just ate at home. We spent several hundred dollars for food valet etc, I expected at least better service. We hadn’t had any problems before but this is definitely our last time coming. The best part of the night was the valet staff. They smiled each time we saw them and they gave the best service out of everyone in the resturant. They need a raise! I was very disappointed that my birthday ended like this.

Our server Lucy was the best. She was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Food was not great. My wife ended up not eating after she had to send 2 steaks back. First one was dry and over done the second came out raw. The bread was the star of the meal, the chopped salad was tasty too. As far as the steak, I have had far better tasting steak at other steak chains for a fraction of the cost. Why pay $70 for a steak when they can’t cook it correctly. We were looking forward to this experience for about a year and what a disappointment.

Went for the first time and Salim the bartender made it a fantasic night, making the best drinks and recomending me some great food on the menu, creating a delicious three course meal. I have been to most of the top steak houses in Charlotte and my experience here would put it to the top, and I finaly felt I got the value that I spent. First course, the French onion soup on a cold rainy day, sweet delicant and prepared just right. 2nd, jumbo shrimp coctail with 5 huge pieces poached to a perfect consistency and tons of fresh horse radish to make a delicious and spicey fresh cocktail sauce. Then a Prime Cajun ribeye . . . Perfectly cooked. I highly recomend Mortons for a friendly and delicious visit
