Finally traditional NY style pizza found it’s way to Bradenton!!
We have an actual Italian deli, restaurant and pizzeria all in one!
Their deli has the best pecorino!!!
We tried their pizzas last night.
Cheese and pepperoni.
If I’d closed my eyes and heard the sounds of NYC I would have sworn I was on Mulberry St. or in Brooklyn!
We went back Friday night to try the restaurant.
It was amazing!
Katie was our server and she went above and beyond!!
The atmosphere is fabulous.
The antipasti for 2 was incredible.. there were 3 of us and we still brought half home.
Their portions are beyond generous.
We all brought more than half our food home!
We had the linguine with bolognese, and 2 of us had specials… pasta carbonara, and blackened grouper.
Everything was delicious and authentic.
I can’t wait to go back and try everything on their menu!!
If you’re a transplant like we are and you’re desperate to find amazing, traditional “NY style” food?

We went to Morrone’ s tonight for dinner and it did not disappoint! The grandma pizza pie was amazing! Homemade sauce, fresh mozzarella and crisp crust. This is one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. We also had the rice balls and they were delicious! If you haven’t been to Morrone’s you’re missing some delicious Italian! As my New Yorker husband would say fuhgeddaboudit!

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! Best food in town! Sandwiches are to die for, huge selection at the deli counter, pizza looks amazing and desert counter is great too! Must try the the Napoleons! Staff is super friendly! I will be back once a week to try something new!

We ordered 6 knots, Chicken Francese, Baked Ziti and a kids pizza, both dinners came with a side salad upgrade. We also grabbed 2 Canoli and a mixed Berry Tart everything came to $75. 2 dinners, knots, kids meal and 3 desserts. Super busy Friday night, food was great, everyone was very friendly even tho they were swamped busy still smiling. While I was waiting in line I heard someone come in without a reservation and they said over an hour wait, they STRONGLY suggest reservations.

All dishes were excellent. Totally authentic Italian food. Additional to the restaurant is a well stocked deli with everything imaginable Italian. Awesome experience.

Just fantastic! Anyone complaining about the prices hasn’t been to a sandwich shop recently. Franchises charge way more for way less and will never even come close to the deliciousness of the food served here. My husband got the Italian sub, said it was the best sandwich he’s ever had in his life and was able to half it with me because it was so big! I can also say it was the best sandwich I’ve ever had. All staff were very nice and helpful. Highly recommend, ignore all these negative reviews who wouldn’t know good food if it slapped them in the face. Let them keep eating at overpriced franchises. Can’t wait to come back here for dinner!

Ordered for pickup. Pizza dough was soaking wet. No way to handle a slice. Toppings just slid off. Gross. Pasta tasted so below average. They won’t last in this neighborhood, and definitely not with those outrageous prices.

Got there just before 6pm as we had reservations at 6pm. We were seated promptly and waited on quickly. Food was great. Service was also great. Can’t say enough about how well we were treated.
