For a late dinner, I went to Morristown Diner, which provided everything a local New Jersey diner should. The interior is bright, colorful, and clean, with teal booths, patterned tile floors, and soft lighting that creates a nice atmosphere. The outside has that vintage roadside appeal. I got a turkey club, which was loaded with big slices of turkey, tomato, and fresh lettuce. There was also a pickle, coleslaw and cranberry sauce on the side. The tuna wrap with french fries, another meal we ordered, was very fresh. Our drinks were continuously refilled without our request, and the service was prompt and courteous. We even had leftovers to take home, and the prices were fair given the size of the portions. My experience at Morristown Diner included delicious comfort cuisine, generous portions, and friendly service.

An excellent truly-retro diner! Very clean interior and many comfortable booths.

The staff are very friendly, courteous and fast.

The menu is very diverse and you will always find several items to enjoy for any meal of the day.

I highly recommend enjoying a meal at this fabulous authentic diner.

The ultimate NJ diner.

Feasted on a “Taylor Ham” sandwich. The menu listed it as, “Pork Roll,” but this is North Jersey – hence, I am calling it as it should be called, “Taylor Ham.”

A great experience. From the waitstaff service to the taste of the food.

A wonderful experience!

If you want to experience a part of morristown that stood the test of time then this is the place for you. With that been said the morristown diner does not represent morristown very well. Its old, dingy and mostly attracts the younger crowd who had one to many drinks from bar hopping in morristown! In my opinion the Randolph dinner would be a much better representation of morristown than the morristown diner!

Service was very good with very polite server. Service was fast. From there it goes downhill. Gravy on disco fries was burnt. Toast had some sort of onion butter taste. Home fries tasted like cooked in old oil. Shake okay but expensive for the size. Omlet okay but again had an “off” taste. Maybe an off night since many reviews are better.

The food was good. The grilled cheese and bacon I got was very tasty. I also ordered a ham and cheese omelette and home fries. Which were also good. Just overall above average place. Nothing too crazy too right about.

The food was as good as I remember! I hadn’t been to the Morristown Diner in about 5 years, but the food tasted as good as I remember. Favorite item has always been their open-faced Reuben. The serving of fries was very generous and they came out very crisp. The Boneless Buffalo wings were a bit overcooked, but still tasted good.

Solid comfort food, never had a bad experience. All the classic diner favorites in a classic diner setting. They’re always there to satisfy the craving.

My co-worker order food from here so I decided to try this place so I got a hamburger with Swiss cheese and well done, It was still red in the middle and the cheese was missing so I said maybe it’s a rush and mistakes happen. My co-worker wanted to order again so I order again as well I specifically told them no pork because I’m allergic, well guess what? They gave me pork I brought it to the restaurant attention the host lady said “no it’s turkey it’s not pork”. So I brought it back in person so, it’s the lady(host) and the owner I’m telling them I’m allergic to pork I’m having an allergic reaction my throat is closing up the owner was so rude and nasty telling me I’m not having a flare up, yelling at me saying “ it’s turkey not pork!” He wouldn’t listen to me he didn’t do anything to resolve the problem I always tip the lady and spend more than $20 at this business. I had to leave work early(losing money) and go to the ER. I WOULDN’T RECOMMEND THIS DINER AT ALL THE OWNER IS NASTY AND RUDE AND RACIST TOWARDS AFRICAN AMERICANS! I noticed they were racist when I picked me and my co-worker food up the second time we ordered. I will never come here again! I’m definitely taking the food to get tested and sue he think I’m not going to do so someone could lose their life because of their error then to be rude about it it’s so disgusting.

Diner perfection. Excellent coffee. Tex mex omelet was loaded with veggies. Juevos Rancheros was a massive plate of protein. Both were bursting with flavor. The waitstaff all works together as a team and was immensely hospitable.
