The place was decent. We got the hot chocolate and espresso. My hot chocolate was good but the espresso was nothing special. The customer service felt like we were an inconvenience, not very friendly. Despite not being fresh, the blueberry lemon scones was pretty good. Based on the package date it had been there a few days.

Morrison Joe is truly a hidden gem in the heart of Marriaon! From the moment you step inside, the warm and cozy atmosphere makes you feel instantly at home. The staff are welcoming, the space is charming, and the overall vibe is the perfect balance between relaxed and inviting.

Now let’s talk about the coffee — absolutely the best I’ve had in the area. The flavors are rich, smooth, and crafted with clear passion and attention to detail. I ordered the Lavender Honey Latte, and it was nothing short of incredible — the delicate floral notes blended beautifully with the natural sweetness of honey, creating a drink that was both comforting and refreshing. Every sip felt like a treat.

If you’re a coffee lover or just looking for a wonderful spot to unwind, I can’t recommend Morrison Joe enough. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to visit again and again.

Highly recommended — 10/10!

This hidden gem is lovely. You enter a small outdoor courtyard, and the building is tucked behind. Find a unique mix of drinks, and exquisite staff. The chefs kiss was the pictures of clients dogs on the walls! Just around the corner to grab a coffee after catching a sunrise at Red Rocks.

Morris & Joe has been one of the best surprises on my cross-country ride—I’ve stopped in twice now and both times it was exactly what I needed. Their coffee is top-notch (hands down the best soy latte I’ve ever had), and I was told the beans are Ethiopian but roasted locally, which makes sense because you can actually taste the difference—it’s like you can taste the plane ticket. The outdoor patio is next-level, shaded by trees in a way that makes it the perfect spot to cool down and recharge no matter when you roll in. Add in a super friendly staff who made me feel totally at home, and this place just sets the bar for what a cafe stop should be.

Poor shot of espresso, milk is not frothed correctly. I had Snowy fields (vanilla + lavender) latte. I took 2 sips and threw this away.

Good coffee with the SWEETEST staff! When we walked in, we thought the barista must have been chatting with a regular based on the ease and warmth of the conversation. When it was our turn to order, we were offered the same kindness and immediately felt welcome. We visited the morning of Sunday 7/14 – this barista deserves a raise!

Stopped in for a coffee after a morning hike. Barista was super friendly and got our lattes out quickly! Was super excited to see that they offer Taste of Denmark pastries for sale (although they were sold out at the time). Cozy setting both inside and outside in the courtyard. Will definitely be back for a morning cup of Morrison Joe soon again!

A sweet and cozy spot with nice indoor and outdoor sittings. We had the snowy fields (lavender and vanilla) and October sky (butter and caramel) and they were delicious. Nice service, a cute stop if you are in Morrison, CO

Cute little coffee shop in downtown Morrison. The staff are super friendly! They have free trail maps for nearby parks. The coffee was good, some of the best we’ve had in the area.

Cute little shop with the most amazing selection of lattes, mochas and cappuccinos! Super friendly staff, small interior and a medium patio. It’s a very unassuming storefront and you can miss the entry but look for the planters hanging on a white brick wall! Perfect stop for a hot or cold drink after a morning workout at red rocks!
