My friend and I ate dinner at the bar and had a wonderful experience! I’m not sure the bartenders name, she’s blonde with beautiful nails and is always so kind and accomodating. She really makes sure we’re enjoying our food and evening. And the FOOD! Delicious… I like to cook gourmet meals at home and usually think it’s better than what restaurants serve, but this place blew me out of the water! I got the beet salad with grilled chicken, it came with fresh-baked bread & rosemary butter. My friend got the mushroom risotto – everything was fantastic. I’ll definitely be back!

The food was edible, however I won’t be itching to go back. The calamari was different, it was served hot and garlicky with seaweed salad on it, very strange. Our burgers were done how we requested, but the brussels sprouts were over sweet like they were tossed around in maple syrup. My husband did enjoy the clam chowder, bread and butter were very good also…

New Year’s Eve special menu was to die for. I didn’t get a picture of the clam chowder because I ate it so quickly, but it was phenomenal. The staff even dressed for a 20s theme. Amazing 🙂

Appetizer and dessert were delicious(Cigar and White Chocolate Raspberry bread pudding). Main courses were okay. My husband ordered the steak stroganoff, the meat was very fatty and there was just a pool of grease in his bowl. My lobster Mac and cheese was okay. It lacked flavor. Our waitress was nice though we had to remind her of waters a few times. Overall we had nice experience.

My wife and I are here for Valentine’s Day. This is our first time here. The waitress was fantastic, dinner was excellent. Dessert was just as good. Unfortunately I didn’t take pictures of our dinner but I will share dessert. So if you find yourself near Morris, IL. this restaurant is a definite must try, we highly recommend Morris Chop Shop.

Date night for my wife and I tonight, it’s our second time visiting the Morris Chop Shop. Once again our waitress ( Joslyn)was absolutely wonderful. The appetizers were excellent calamari then roasted beets salad sorry, no we did not get a picture of the appetizers but we did add a picture of the perfectly cooked rib eye steak. 2 glasses of port then ended dinner with a piece Tropical Carrot Cake. Great ending to a perfect dinner.

The food was AMAZING this was our 1st time trying this place out will definitely come back!! Their date night special $50 is great bang for the price even the $5 upgrade for the bottle of wine that’s included in the $50. Amazing and very delicious food. We had the cod cake appetizer with the lemon caper sauce very yummy! My entree was the Swordfish topped with sweet fig puree placed on a bed of sauteed red onion s I believe with choice of baked or garlic mashed potatoes. The garlic mashed potatoes were very good definitely homemade. Dessert was carrot cake crumble sundae with whipped cream and caramel sauce. The wine was an imported moscato from Italy very sweet and bubbly could drink it everyday lol

Had a delicious meal. I am gluten intolerant and was able to eat most offered on their menu. Had the Pig + Prawns appetizer and the Brazilian Picanha Steak with herb risotto. Was amazing and definitely worth going back for! Staff was friendly.

Stopped in and had the Delmonico Ribeye and a “ButterSlap” (Irish crème, butterschnaps, vanilla vodka- shaken over ice)

Very good. Service was slow and the drink menu and specials are on an ipad which you have to keep asking for. Otherwise food was delicious
