I feel bad leaving not the best review, because I love supporting local businesses and I ABSOLUTELY love Moros in Auburn. Unfortunately the Moros in Skan is absolutely less than the Auburn location. I’ve been there twice for 2 very important occasions, they were aware of it, yet our waitresses was cold & rude and the food is subpar. The vibe compared to the Auburn location is so different, we felt so uncomfortable and not a priority at all in the Skaneateles location. The Auburn location make us feel welcomed and is warm and is so much more family oriented. I don’t see myself going back to the Skaneateles Moros ANY TIME SOON. Sorry!

Whether you’re in a suit or a t-shirt, Moro’s Kitchen is your place! I recommend reservations (even for 2 people). The atmosphere is located in a beautiful stone building steps away from Skaneateles Lake. The food was excellent and the staff were more than wonderful! Leave room for dessert!

This is the second time I’ve dined here. The food was very good and the service was as well. I will say that the menu hasn’t changed much in 3 years but still high quality. Great choices for their wine selection. I would recommend the Col Di Sasso Sangiovese. We started with raw oysters which were so good. Had to ask for horseradish. For entrees, we had the seafood cioppino and the squash ravioli. The portions were smaller but very tasty.
I have to say that it used to have a more upscale feel in past then now.

I’ve been making my way dining thru Skaneateles NY and hands down best so far! The food is DEVINE, the staff is amazing, and Chef Adam places magic in every bite….. I will be back!

Some menu items are excellent, but it can be hit (shrimp risotto) or miss (chicken cacciatore), and prices ($200 for two prix fixe Valentine-Day dinners with two desserts, two glasses of wine, tax and tip) seem a little high compared to other good Italian restaurants in the Syracuse area. Service is friendly and efficient and the atmosphere is relaxed even though a bit cramped. My advice is if you want to enjoy dishes created by one of the most talented and accomplished chefs in the area, Ed Moro, drive a few more miles to Auburn and eat at Moro’s Table. UPDATE-1: Returned to this restaurant after a few years to have dinner. I ordered a side salad followed by shrimp in vodka sauce over house-made rigatoni. The generously proportioned dish came with six jumble shrimp and a delicious vodka sauce that had a slow burn. My wife ordered an individual mushroom pizza with truffle oil. She shared a slice with me which I found to have a strong earthy mushroom flavor. The experience was a great improvement over our first visit, and I inceased my rating from three stars to four.

Placed and order for their online menu pasta and vodka sauce and two chicken Reggie’s and three garlic breads.
They said they were out of Reggie’s so changed the order to two pastas at two garlic breads. I am placing the order to a person.
When I pick up my order there are the two pasta orders a three pieces of plane bread .
I asked about the garlic bread and they said they don’t make it. Yet they charged be $12 and the person taking the order never mentioned that.
They finally said they would refund the money but the credit never hit my card.
Good food if you sit down, do not take out.
They do not care about takeout orders.

I was surprised at how good their salads sounded and I am happy I got one because it was delicious! Our appetizers came out quick and were also very tasty. I would happily order takeout from here in the future! The vibe is definitely geared towards older people and we felt a bit out of place. I don’t think this is the place for a younger group night out, but for sure I suggest trying it out and making your own judgement.

I was lucky enough to get the last lamb chop special- they were all out by 7 pm- spectacular! “ Mediterranean Style Grilled Lamb Rack Chops- chickpea hummus, roasted potatoes, asparagus tomato cucumber and feta salad….” The taste was evolved with the combined flavors…just luscious!
