Lovely bakery with amazing looking desserts. We did not have a chance to try the pizza.
There were no celiac safe options for prepared food, however my party that is not allergic to gluten raved about the croissants.
I had a maple latte that was super yummy.
Everything appears to be made in house.

Great stop for coffee, bites and even holiday gifts.
I like that the bakery is open and so up close. Place smells euphoric of course. Lots of gift possibilities here. Bought some creamed maple and preserves.

I’ve been coming to Morningside Bakery for a little over a year now and it is the epicenter of this cute little town. They have everything I love for morning coffee n a bagel or pastries.
I’ve worked my way through their bakery cases for breakfast and lunch.
Most recently, I finally tried the much raved about wood fired pizzas and they are exceptional! My favorite is the Matt’s! Living in NI it’s trying to find a place that holds a candle to back home – this surpasses even some Jersey staples.

This place has new owners – a hard working family. There’s a definite uptick in the quality of the pastries offered – there’s a certain heartiness to their pastries now. Every one of the pastries we’ve tried has been very tasty. They also now prepare unique pizzas – way different from the run-of-the-mill pizza and really good. If you like trying different flavor combinations, these are for you! The pizza maker has a knack for combining different flavors that are really good. Lots of top notch wine and craft beer plus unique local shelf products. Definite thumbs up to these new folks. We’re glad they re-named the business since they bought it; that’s a good thing since the new operation is noticeably better than the former.

This place was hoppin! The barista was super busy with lunch orders, but was careful to get our espresso coffee drink orders just right. Great selection of baked goods. Nice outside patio seating for patrons walking dogs.

Morningside Bakery truly impresses with some of the best pastries I’ve tasted in ages—each bite is fresh, flaky, and memorable. The staff, especially the welcoming ladies behind the counter, make every visit feel special with their friendly and accommodating attitude. They went above and beyond when I needed a large order for my work crew, ensuring everything was packed up perfectly. If you’re passing through Brandon, don’t miss their wood-fired pizzas, which my team raved about as ‘very, very good.’ This cozy spot is a must-visit for anyone seeking top-notch baked goods, pizza, and warm hospitality. As they also have other goods must try

Aren’t we lucky to have Morningside in our town. The kindest folks and the best pastries and pizza in the whole state. The spicy meat and ricotta pie is out of this world!

GREAT WINES!!Although Morningside is getting well-deserved kudos for its baked goods, coffees and sandwiches, they also have an excellent—-albeit small—reasonably priced wine selection. We go specifically for their French imports—especially the Roses—but have also enjoyed Californian, Argentinian and other European imports. Enjoy!

Food is outstanding! Had the wood fried pizza for the first time and was blown away. I chose the white pizza with ricotta and it did not disappoint. Some of my favorite options at the cafe include the ham & cheese croissant, the quiche (of any variety), also the leek and parmesan croissant. The desserts are also delicious, the flourless chocolate cake is my personal fave but anything you choose will be amazing, trust me! I highly recommend stopping in for a friendly hello and a delicious meal, treat, or coffee! So glad we have such a wonderful locally spot in town!
