My wife and I came here to eat and it was truly one of the best dining experiences we’ve had. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and well thought out. Colten was our server, and he made the experience exceptional — he was very personable, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. He took the time to explain the menu, gave great recommendations, and made us feel taken care of without ever being intrusive. The food, atmosphere, and service all came together perfectly. We’ll definitely be coming back, and we’ll be asking for Colten specifically. Highly recommend Morning Story.

This place is so bomb, one of my favorites ever. They have great deals on grubhub often. I love the butter bacon burger with loaded fries!! The food always gets to my house super fast and tastes so amazing.

I’ve been here at least a dozen times. Lately the service has gone down hill–atleast for me. One particular waitress, who’s name starts with letter M, doesn’t seem to like me. Not sure why.
This morning I got seated and the hostess was super nice. I ordered a latte, but never got sugar, had to ask for it. No sorrys, just a weird smirk and I felt like I was bothering her. No water either.
When I was done, she grabbed my plate away so fast that I couldn’t tell her I wanted to save my last piece of French toast. She couldn’t even be bothered to ask. Lol lol. I mean it’s comical.
Everyone else around me got water, sugar and creamer for their coffee along with pleasantries. I felt unwelcome. SMH. I guess my business isn’t wanted here. If management wants to reach out, I’ll gladly speak to someone. But for now, I will never come back.

This breakfast spot is amazing. Nikayla was our server and she was so kind and helpful. i have a nut allergy and did not even notice what i ordered had walnuts. she warned me and made sure that the kitchen was aware of my allergy. not only this, she was by far the kindest server we have ever had. I got a begin waffle and my husband got the Hash, both were delicious. fresh fruit was the best part.

While the food was great, the service was a bit slow. It took a while for our food to come out. The serving sizes are very large, and you can easily share the meal. I do love the mimosa flights. They also have vodka flights and coffee flights. I ordered the trilogy, and my husband ordered the chicken and green chile hash. I also had the mimosa flights. The seasonal was an apple cider mimosa. Was very surprised and very much enjoyed this.

Went to Morning Story for birthday breakfast and was left a little disappointed. It’s a nice little spot with a welcoming vibe and comfortable feeling. It was pretty crowded, and the service kind of lacked because of it. Our server seemed rushed and inconvenienced if we needed something or had a question. The food wasn’t bad. I had the breakfast nachos and the chicken and waffles. The nachos were okay, nothing really above and beyond. The chicken and waffles were kind of lackluster as well. It’s simply just a waffle with a couple of chicken strips. On a big plate with a bunch of empty space begging for more food to be added to it. Mimosa flight was good. Overall, it’s hard to recommend going to a mid restaurant these days with all the other options nearby. And they offer no birthday love at all.

Not only was the food DELICIOUS the staff was all very helpful and attentive. The Kitchen manager at this location is also amazing and pushed out some good food today!! I will definitely be back and I will let all my family know!! Huge shout out to Malia for always giving us such great service and good food recommendations!!!

Officially taking this place off our rotation of breakfast spots. Not only have they increased their prices exponentially over the past couple of years (every time, it’s new menus and higher prices), but now they sneak in a hefty surcharge for using a credit card to pay. They stopped carrying Splenda for the coffee and stopped offering cottage cheese as a side. Paying 25 bucks a person for coffee and breakfast (literally – final bill for two people, 50 dollars, with surcharges, tax, and tip) is crazy when I couldn’t even get what I wanted. Burnt-tasting coffee, cold sad eggs, burnt bacon hard as a rock, and a very generic waffle. I could have done this at home for under 3 dollars. And I would have had Splenda for my coffee. (The server told me, “We only have the blue packets now.” Yuck.) I’ve noticed the longtime servers here have started moonlighting at other breakfast restaurants. We’ll happily follow them there, and Morning Story moves into the “never again, until they fix all this garbage” category. Used to be a great restaurant. What a shame.

I had a 10/10 excellent experience at Morning Story in Arvada. The breakfast was absolutely delicious.
I ordered the Chicken and Waffles. I also had the Romesco Eggs Benedict, which was perfectly cooked, I added bacon to it and it was a great addition to it. The mimosa flight was amazing. David the manager and staff ensured I was properly serviced. Colton was my waiter and was very attentive. The restaurant also has a nice patio to sit outside at and enjoy your meal. I will certainly be returning to Morning Story with my friends and family.

Had such a lovely experience today with my partner at Morning Story! Staff was all super nice. At 9:15 there was no wait time and we got seated immediately. Coffee was excellent! As my partner and I ordered we mentioned we were going to share our meals and would like an extra plate….. then the meals came out split already! Was super helpful and a sweet gesture of our server and kitchen team! Would recommend the French toast with the cinnamon butter topping. Will definitely be back.
