First off, we pull up and get told there’s a “wait” — meanwhile I’m literally staring at empty tables like they’re museum exhibits. Then some other waitress comes and seats us to those tables right away. So I guess seating is based on vibes, astrology, or divine intervention. Who knows.
We finally get menus… except they’re both blurred out. Not metaphorically. Physically. The letters were erased like someone tried to delete breakfast. The egg section was basically a ghost town. I’m ordering off muscle memory at this point. i was genuinely struggling to read the print and my vision a 20/20 mind u.
Our waitress looked like she was fighting demons (I respect customer service trauma, so no hate), but it took 10 minutes just to place our order… and then FORTY MINUTES for the food to arrive. Forty. Minutes. for breakfast food? i understand there was an event but I live right by Mill — I’ve seen chaos. I’ve seen brunch rushes. I’ve seen post-party crowds. And I’ve NEVER waited this long for eggs in my life. At this point don’t call it Morning Squeeze — call it Night Squeeze because the sun had time to go down while we waited.
The manager had to bring our food out because idek where the waitress went. Meanwhile she’s making eye contact with us while delivering everyone else’s food like some psychological warfare tactic. Just edging us with breakfast.
AND THEN. The SMELL.
Bro.
It started smelling like the gates of hell cracked open suddenly mid wait. My friend tried to blame a baby in the back but no infant on Earth has that kind of power. The doors were open, it was windy, and the stench rolled in like a toxic fog. As someone with asthma, I was genuinely fighting for my life. It smelled like toilet water, regret, and unresolved plumbing issues.
Food finally comes — and I’ll be fair: it was actually decent. Smoked salmon eggs benedict was good, hash browns were solid. I’ll give credit where it’s due. But breakfast food should NOT take 40 minutes, especially when the restaurant was basically empty by the time we got it. A party of 5 ladies behind us literally left after just getting water because the wait was so bad.
AND THEN the bathrooms clogged. Both of them. Only two toilets working and BOTH got blocked. Who is fighting demons in your plumbing system??? The waitress straight up closed the restaurant after us.
Oh — and they don’t take Apple Tap to Pay. In 2026. On Mill Ave. Be serious.
Final verdict:
Food = decent
Experience = a tragicomic Greek odyssey
Ambience = sewer-adjacent
Time perception = warped
Lungs = violated
When we tried to order food, the menu was a mess. Half of the items were faded to the point where we couldn’t read the titles, food options, or even the pricing. It was honestly ridiculous, and they really need to update their menus and get new ones.
We waited over 40 minutes for our food, and by the time it arrived, it wasn’t even morning anymore. For that long of a wait, especially for breakfast food, the meals were extremely simple. The food itself was decent, but nothing special or worth the wait.
Another major issue was the restroom situation. The restrooms were closed off to customers, which was very inconvenient and unreliable. On top of that, there were flies around our table, which was disgusting, and there was a noticeable stench throughout the restaurant that made me not want to eat anymore.
When it came time to pay, everything felt chaotic. The staff seemed confused and overwhelmed, and it looked like they were shutting down at the same time we were trying to check out. Orders were taking forever, workers didn’t seem to know where items were supposed to go, and the whole process felt unnecessary and poorly managed.
Overall, I wouldn’t come back here again. The poor service, cleanliness issues, and disorganization completely ruined the experience. Morning Squeeze really Squeezed my patience.
I came in to get a togo order and i noticed there were multiple things missing from the order,(hashbrowns, hollondaise, cotija cheese i asked for), and when i called back to ask for the missing items or partial refund, parker was extremely accommodating! She mentioned that i can come in an get the at least the hasbrowns that we’re forgotten, even after they closed for the day. But when came in at (2:10) parker had left for the day and the manger was left at the front. Upon arrival, the manager did not greet me nicely, she was rude and said she couldn’t help me at all with the missing food or a refund, and she gave me dirty looks as well as an attitude. I didn’t engage in her horrible behavior and i’ve decided to call back tomorrow for my refund. Because of this manager, this has been the worst visit i’ve had to this restaurant and i’m extremely disappointed. I come here all the time and i will not be returning because of this manager. Also i’m Still waiting on my refund that apparently she “can’t do”.
