What a lovely surprise! I stumbled upon Morning Mist Café while wandering through a beautiful little area full of charming local shops — no plans, just following good vibes — and I’m so glad I did.
The café was super clean, welcoming, and had such a peaceful, cozy atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly, and you can really tell they care about the space and their guests. The food was fantastic — fresh, flavorful, and served impressively fast. I especially loved that they had matcha on the menu (major bonus points for that!).
It truly felt like a hidden gem, and stepping into this place made my day. The owners/servers were so kind and genuine — you could feel the love in every part of the experience. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and want a peaceful, delicious little treat.

We visited the area out of town as a family of 5. We tried out a bunch of appetizers, (fried pickles, mozzarella sticks, potato skins), and they were all delicious. Most of us ordered the club with soup or BLT. I got the club with their loaded potato soup and it was really good. The bread was perfectly toasted and the soup was warm and hearty. The service was great and the atmosphere was homey. Would love to come back here again once I am in town. Thank you!

We ordered through DoorDash since we were playing down the road at the school. Food was delicious and I would highly recommend the k ion rings and Philly cheesesteak!! Steamed broccoli was also very good!!

Took the backroads to Gatlinburg and came across the Morning Mist Cafe and decided to try it out. Surrounded by shady trees and a stream, it was the perfect “pit stop” to relax and regroup.
Now to the food, wife had a turkey wrap that she loved. I wanted something different and got the potato soup and grilled cheese. OMG I had to save the grilled cheese as my last bite. It was delish!!
Neat place !!

We stopped in for lunch and everything was so delicious. You will definitely get full. The place itself is a little small but the food is so good. We were there during a slow time fortunately and had no issues getting in and seated. Great location with lots to do surrounding.

This place is definitely a hidden gem! I stopped in alone after hitting the bookstore, and almost left after waiting awhile to be seated, but I’m so glad I was patient! The fried deviled eggs were amazing, and the Misty Chicken Sandwich has got to be the best grilled chicken sandwich I’ve ever eaten. Don’t change a thing, just order it how it comes and be amazed! Although I did wait to be seated, I learned there was only 1 waitress, and she was as friendly as can be. Make the trip out to this place, you’ll be happy you did

What an amazing find. We stumbled across this spot looking for a place to have lunch that was near our cabin and this gem did not disappoint.
The Cafe is part of a cluster of artisan shops so parking wasn’t an issue. The customer service was excellent (I really hate that I’m not 100% on the servers name but she was the only one working) and the food was outstanding! We got the Morning Mist Chicken sandwich and a burger and both were exceptional. The flavor of the peach/jalepeno jam on the chicken sandwich was unexpected and took the sandwich from a Yes! to a Hell Yes!
But our favorite part of the meal was the deep fried deviled eggs. You have to try them, they are delicious.
The chef/owner really has the perfect size menu with options for everyone and the surroundings just add to the charm of this cafe.

We were staying in Wear’s Valley and found this cafe online with a menu that looked good. We made an outing for brunch and looked around the little shops nearby. Morning Mist cafe was perfect and I suspect it will become a regular stop when we’re in town.
I got the standard breakfast plate (eggs, bacon, hash browns , toast). Eggs were perfect, friend said biscuits and gravy were great. Service was friendly- even asked about our books. And prices were very reasonable, esp for the area.

This place! We ate here for a late lunch, and we highly recommend it! The grilled chicken (on our sandwich and wraps) was delicious, tender, and juicy. The service and atmosphere were quite pleasant. Try it, and we think you will like it.
