We can NOT wait to make this our new weekly dine in spot!!! We’ve visited a few times now for their soft opening and each visit has been a GREAT experience!!!
The menu selection has been wonderful and they have options for everyone’s needs!!! DEFINITELY worth the wait and money!!! Will be trying new things on the menu again soon!!!
Julie greeted us and has been super nice throughout our visits, Krissy our waitress was also very nice and took great care of us.
D.J. one of the owners was very caring and personal. He made sure to check in with us, and other tables during our service multiple times. Patrick, another owner was very hands on and helpful in the kitchen making sure that the food was prepared in a timely manner and that it got delivered to the full expectation!!! Thanks again for the wonderful experiences!!! See you all again soon!!! ❤️
The service was great
The food was so fresh and the ranch was delicious (i’m a huge ranch person)
The portions are great as well
This is a chef inspired breakfast and brunch restaurant, and you can tell from the moment your plate hits the table. The presentation alone steers clear of the typical eggs, bacon, toast, and gravy combo we all grew up with. You know, the plate Grandma made every weekend. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with that classic comfort meal. But when so many places stick to the same template, you forget what a true chef’s touch can do. Morning Harvest reminds you.
Now, a heads-up, if you’re not a fan of close seating, this may not be your vibe. The place is busy but rightfully so. Tables are tucked in tight, and you might hear your neighbor’s tea without even trying. But once your food arrives the surrounding noise fades into the background.
I ordered the salmon hash. My first impression? A little shaky. I tried one of the rustic potatoes on its own, and it had no seasoning or flavor. Texture wise it was spot on with a crisp outer skin and a soft, pillowy inside. Then I mixed the potatoes with the sauce and the rest of the plate, and everything changed. The potato became the glue that brought it all together. The smoked salmon was exactly what it should be. Tender, flavorful, not overcooked, and not overpowering with smoke. Balanced. Thoughtful. Now I was smiling.
The sausage gravy deserves its own mention. This isn’t your typical “more gravy, less sausage” situation. It’s more sausage, less gravy, and more flavor. If you like your gravy thick and heavy, this may not be your style. But if you’re a true sausage gravy lover, you’ll appreciate the generous portions of sausage and the depth of flavor packed into every bite.
My wife ordered the Harvest Breakfast. Choice of meat, hash browns, two eggs, and toast. On paper, it’s your standard breakfast plate. But again, it came with a boldness you don’t always find. The sausage links were larger, lighter in color, ( tan instead of that overcooked gray-and-black look ) and not overdone. Simple meal, elevated execution.
The atmosphere isn’t over-the-top or flashy. The upbeat, low key music playing in the background added a nice, fun charm. One small critique: the restrooms are toward the front and a bit hard to distinguish. Without clear signage, you’re kind of hoping you’re opening the right door.
For a restaurant that’s only been open a short time, Morning Harvest Cafe feels like it’s here to stay. I wouldn’t be surprised to see expansion in its near future. If you’re tired of the same old “Joe, Moe, and Curly” breakfast routine at the usual local eateries, this is the place to remind yourself what breakfast can be.
My wife and I were very pleased and we’ll absolutely be back. Thank you, Morning Harvest Cafe.
The staff is super friendly, portions are generous, and the food is DELICIOUS! They’re currently in soft opening, but get ready for their grand opening – it’s gonna be HUGE! They prioritize local products (eggs, grits, etc.), aiming to support 80% local farms and businesses.
The vibe’s cozy, restrooms are spotless, and it’s already a town favorite.
Expect a wait, though; great food + small space = lines!
BTW, They will soon have adult beverages
Can’t wait to come back!
