Best meal we had entire stay in Maine. Chai latte with oat milk was amazing! Breakfast and lunch served was a huge hit for our child who loves quesadillas. Highly recommend!

Wonderful food and pleasant, positive staff. I had the fortune of arriving at 1030am on a Monday when it was a bit slower and had a fantastic experience. The owner Brittany waited on me and was so upbeat and gracious. I tried the Irish Benedict and its reputation as being excellent is accurate. Black iced coffee and a blueberry muffin to go for road fuel. I highly recommend a meal here!

We went on a Saturday and it was quite busy. We were told it would be a 30 mintue wait and we only waited 5. The menu doesn’t have all the prices on it so it was hard to tell how much it was going to be. I had the Biscuits and Gravy with hash browns and apple juice and my friend had a (1) blueberry pancake with a side of home fries and bacon and chocolate milk. It was decent, not bad. Although they ran out of Biscuits at 10am so it was on an english muffin instead. It took us an hour to get our food when even though it was busy there were not a lot of people in the store. Our waitress was nice and came back a couple times to make sure we had everything that we needed. But the total was $42 and we were still hungry after. We did get free cinnamon rolls only because of the promotion they had going on but we both shared our food and had the exact same food all day and the only difference was that she ate her cinnamon roll and now she had food poisoning.
Not a very enjoyable experience, especially for the first time in the area. I would go somewhere else.

This is now my new favorite breakfast place! My whole family enjoyed their meals, our server was wonderful, and the service was fast. I will also mention the lattes were to die for! We will be back next time we go out for breakfast, and I want to try lunch there now, too.

EDIT- We have now been here numerous times and have never been disappointed. The food and service are always great and we have tried most of the menu at this point.

If you’re only interested in the food, this cafe is worth a visit. However, if customer service and an authentic atmosphere are important to you, I’d suggest going elsewhere. I was told my wait would be 25 minutes, but it stretched to nearly 50 minutes with no communication from the staff. I wouldn’t have minded the longer wait if they had been honest from the start or provided updates, but the lack of transparency was a letdown.
Also, they were NOT apologetic about the inconvenience. But food was good. Not worth the experience though

Came here with friends the Tuesday morning after a long holiday weekend.

Busier than expected for mid-morning and table was a short wait.

The service was OK, again busy, coffee was good. Had to ask a couple of times for water.

I had the biscuits and gravy, hash browns with side of sunnyside up eggs. Food was good enough, just what you would expect from an all day breakfast lunch food kinda place.

Some people at our table had food come out staggered and late. Don’t know if it was the kitchen or the servers but not crisp execution.

Mixed bag of an experience. One visit so maybe we just caught them on an off day.

I used to frequent Morning Glory a few year back but stopped going when the reviews got low ratings.

Recently, I read reviews and it was getting better so today my husband and I decided to try. It seemed that ownership has changed.

Boy, we are so glad that we did! I ordered Morning Glory special two eggs, 2 sausages, two bacon and blueberry pancake. It was delicious. The pancake was especially delicious without the taste of baking soda. The coffee was also excellent. To top it, the price was reasonable.

Staff were very thoughtful, attentive and made us feel home.
There was a line, a sign of great place to eat but waiting was worth it. We came away very satisfied.

Great menu that has standard diner items, but also seasonal specials. My husband likes the latte flight, but he did wish it was hot instead of iced.

Morning Glory continues to be my favorite spot! I’ve been enjoying the best blueberry pancakes in the country for several years now and this diner has only gotten better with time! The menu is more extensive with lots of fun options, such as the Oreo and Samoa pancakes. Additionally, you can now order speciality espresso drinks, like the cookie butter latte which was so phenomenal, I had to take a pic and brag about it to my friends! If I wasn’t living on a teacher’s salary, I’d stop by every morning I’m on vacation. Thank you, Morning Glory!

Morning Glory Diner Review

Location: 78 Portland Rd, Bridgton, ME 04009

Overview: Frequenting Sebago Lake during the summer, I decided to explore the local food scene, starting with a breakfast at the charming Morning Glory Diner. This cozy spot is a must-visit for its standout homemade treats and creative coffee concoctions! ☕️

Cinnamon Buns & Coffee: One of their signatures includes the best homemade cinnamon buns you can find, paired with the most inventive coffee drinks topped with s’mores or even warm cinnamon buns! You won’t be disappointed indulging in one of these dreamy drinks.

Breakfast Burrito: The star of our morning was the breakfast burrito with sausage, complemented by house-made maple-flavored sour cream —a solid 8/10! Delicious and well-seasoned, though the accompanying potatoes could have been a tad crispier.

Irish Benedict: Perfectly cooked eggs atop a Benedict that just needed a touch more flavor in the hash—another 8/10. A solid choice for savory lovers!

Strawberry Waffles: For those with a sweet tooth, the strawberry waffles come generously topped with whipped cream, making it a decadent treat. Perfectly satisfying and also an 8/10.

Ambiance & Seating: With cute summer vibes and some outdoor seating, it’s a wonderful spot to relax. The ambiance scores a 6/10—simple but sweet.

Affordance: With a rating of 7/10, it offers reasonable prices for quality meals.

Recommendation: Highly recommended if you’re vacationing in the area! A delightful spot to enjoy a scrumptious breakfast with a local flair. ‍♂️

Food: 8/10
