There are plenty of Gluten free and vegan options. The service was spectacular as well, I highly recommend.
The food was amazing and I highly recommend one of the breakfast burritos or the banana bread pudding waffles both were out of this world!
Great Ambiance and the staff were super friendly, outgoing, more than helpful and I will definitely be returning to this establishment. I thought Anna’s house was my favorite but I think I found a new favorite breakfast establishment.
– Cheeseburger – $12.9: Four ounce patty, but was a bit on the smaller side of a quarter pound. I would highly recommend getting the second patty. The bun was over toasted to the point that the edges were burned, but the rest okay. The American cheese was good and the toppings fresh. The paprika aioli was particularly good. It is on the expensive side for what else is out there of similar quality and portion.
– Chips (comes with the burger): From a bag, but higher quality (Great Lakes Kettle Chips). They serve a VERY generous portion.
– Glazed Doughnut Waffle – $15.4: A LOT of flavor punch on this one. The waffles taste like wafflized glazed donuts and the glaze definitely adds to that experience. There is a seasoning in it that gives it a unique flavor and I believe it goes beyond the cinnamon and maple.
– Strawberry Shortcake Biscuit – $14.40: Lots of yogurt. Maybe a bit shy with the strawberries. But fairly rich in flavor and the biscuits were not soggy at all.
– Bacon – $5: Thick cut and delicious.
– Hot Chocolate – $3.90: Large portion, higher quality, decoratively whipped and topped. I’d recommend it.
– Coffee – $3.7: Served with a special creamer and in a carafe.
Water is served in smaller glasses, but you get a carafe so you don’t have to worry about waiting. They do serve alcohol, though they close at 3pm.
– Service: Very positive and helpful. Our food was served in the expected time and was exactly as ordered.
– Atmosphere: Extremely bright and cheerful. Definitely a morning restaurant. A lot of country decorations.
– Conclusion: While the food is fairly good, it is on the expensive side (sometimes a little too much). Ask for the bun on the cheeseburger to be lightly toasted or not at all.
Visited Saturday at 12pm.
This is just up the street from F. Meijer gardens. Super convenient!
The menu has varieties of brunch items, such as omelettes, benedicts, and many vegan options. I ordered the harvest omelette, which consisted of sun-dried tomatoes, mushrooms, sautéed peppers, spinach, caramelized onions, smoked provolone, and basil hollandaise. It was presented in a delightful way but just did not have a flavor that I was fond of. It was very mild, yet had a sour tint to it from the hollandaise. It was just an omelette that I really didn’t enjoy.
One thing about this Morning Belle location is that it is very modern. The building seems newer and it is kept up very well. The decor is very comfortable as well. The atmosphere of this place really lives up to its name.
The service wasn’t great. The waitresses, at this time, were very slow. I think that they were short-handed and were compensating for a co-workers absence. And for those reasons, I’m glad that the place was not too crowded.
Overall, this place was okay. I can’t say I’d rush back though. The atmosphere is really nice. The food and service I could take or leave.
