Today is my first time eating from morna. I ordered through door dash. The food was incredible. Cooked well. Arrived hot and I was impressed with the price for a sirloin meal! One of the cheapest around! Will def be back and bring others!

I really enjoyed my lunch here. Food is really good and plenty. I personally loved the seafood rice. The staff is quite friendly and helpful. They have live music some days at night. I would definitely go back with my friends and family, have some nice food and drinks.

Great, friendly, and attentive staff…every time. Cozy atmosphere. I’ve been here 3 times and look forward to returning. Food is very good, but did you change chef? On my 3rd visit, I had the same dish as my 1st visit and it was noticeable different, I did not enjoy it as much. I don’t mind the long waits because, I want the kitchen staff to prepare my dish with care, but please be consistent with the dishes. Once a customer appreciates a certain dish, they are sure to order it over and over again and WILL notice the difference. Keep up the good work and see you soon for some good caipirinha ❤

Just made my 1st visit & many more to come! Excellent exceptional place with outstanding service & beautiful bar in front that leads to the dining room which is very elegant with these gorgeous lights, lots of tables, I had the Morna Burger which was huge & served w/ lettuce, tomatoes, mushrooms with this sherry wine sauce, very yummy and assortment of delicious Cape Verde dishes on the menu along with other things along with signature Cape Verde drinks too, highly recommend this place and it gets 10 stars in my book, please give it a try.

My daughter waited 2 hours for their food and the lady next to her and her friend was complaining about waiting for hers too while she was eating off of her friends plate.. We didn’t need a free shot or drink. To be charged $70.00 for cachupa and coconut shrimp is crazy, waitress staff needs training on how to be nicer and attentive to guests. If you’re a new restaurant stay on point, don’t have customers waiting for 2 hours for appetizers and food. They’ll go else where…

I hate to give reviews like these but, I go say for the first time I was there I expected more. You got make an impression every time you get new guests or same ones. We waited almost 2 hours for food to arrive. And when we got the food there was no recognition that they knew they took too long to bring the food to us. The service from the staff was terrible to say the least. Take this from a guest that was there to eat your food and feel welcomed as a wake up call to do better. The food was good but, the service from staff needs more work to improve great customer service. PS. The name “Morna” is a symbol to our country and when I was there I didn’t hear a single Morna playing.

Trash service !!! Tried to serve me a spicy chicken sandwich on REGULAR BREAD and never told me they were out of buns til after the fact ( what it is supposed to come on ) then had to order something totally different and obviously wait for that to be done brought me French fries with no ketchup. Didn’t bring silverware. Had to ask for both
