Everything you ever wanted food to be and more!
The most delicate well balanced beautifully presented dishes that leave you smiling. This has to be my all time favorite restaurant from the enchanting decor, unbelievable tasting food and seamless service.

The owners, Sharon and Ruben are so humble. They have no idea how special MORLA really is.

We had a fantastic valentine dinner at MORLA. Due to two accidents on the expressway we were 35mins late for our table. I thought for sure our Valentine date night would be ruined by the unforeseen traffic problems. The service at MORLA was exceptional. When we called they assured us we would still be seated and they greeted us with smiles despite our late arrival. We were so thankful for the hospitality. And of course the food was outstanding! The pasta dish was our favorite

Morla is a true hidden gem in this area of Miami. A place that doesn’t seek attention, yet surprises you from the very first bite.

The quality of the food is outstanding: fresh ingredients, well-defined flavors, and thoughtful execution. The tacos are among the best I’ve had in the city—perfectly balanced and full of flavor—and the sea bass is simply impeccable, cooked to perfection and beautifully presented.

What truly sets Morla apart, though, is the service. It’s run by its own owners, and you can feel it in every detail: genuine warmth, care, and an attention to the overall experience that’s increasingly rare. This isn’t just good service—it’s great people who truly care.

A restaurant built with passion, precision, and respect for its guests. Highly recommended, and definitely a place worth returning to.

Owners & husband and wife Sharon & Chef Ruben have created a lovely culinary oasis here. My friend and I went on Wednesday night and experienced the tasting menu which was phenomenal! A fusion of Mexican and Peruvian fare that was so authentic and delicious. Although everything was exceptionally fresh and innovative, we especially liked the Ceviche tostados, Tuna Nikkae Ceviche, Wood Fired Octopus and Pear Pasta. This place should be on everyone’s must try restaurant list. Newly opened and destined to be a hot spot! Enjoy!

We had the tasting menu. Food was great. Good portion. They really rush to the next course. There is also a dress code that you suppose to read about on their website. Would be great if they add that when they text to confirm the reservation.

My first time in Morla. I am sure many more will come.
Everything was perfect.
The combination of new flavors in all of their Peruvian cuisine was exquisite. I recommend this restaurant highly.

Overall, I thought MORLA was good. It would have been 5 stars for me at a lower price point, but there were a few things that made me anchor to 4.

We had the Tuna Crudo, Branzino Grilleado, Ceviche Tostadas, Pear Pasta, and cheesecake dessert.

GOOD
* The ambience was beautiful. Tasteful decoration, good sound, easy to talk to my partner.
* The Ceviche Tostada was extremely good. The best of the 5 dishes we had.

NEEDS IMPROVEMENT
* The Tuna Crudo had no balance. It was just straight up sour. Not what I was expecting or hoping for for something that looked so good (pictured).
* I sense the front of house was short-staffed, because I could see miscommunication everywhere. Little things – they almost gave us the wrong dish twice; I was offered water and said yes, and the waitress just completely forgot until I flagged her down 10 minutes later and asked again; and between courses no one wiped down the table (which is expected for a restaurant at this price range and offering $150 tasting menus!).
* Those lean back swivel chairs in the middle were really hard to get out of, and I was sort of stuck until I asked the person behind me to move a little.

Mind-Blowing Peruvian Dining in Bay Harbor

This restaurant absolutely blew me away. From the moment we walked in, the modern-chic, wood-forward décor created an atmosphere that felt both elevated and incredibly warm. The service was genuinely delightful—they made us feel like we were being welcomed into their own living room, even though the restaurant itself is quite upscale.

Every dish was a masterpiece. The beats passionfruit hamachi was a stunning flavor explosion—bright, layered, texturally complex, and beautifully confusing in the best possible way. The ceviche tostadas were perfection, featuring insanely fresh, high-quality fish that you just don’t find everywhere. And the wood-fired octopus? Absolutely perfect—smoky, tender, and packed with flavor.

A truly gourmet Latin American–Peruvian experience. If you’re anywhere near Bay Harbor, this place is a must. Enjoy!

My husband, Aron, and I enjoyed Christmas Eve dinner with Sharon & Rueben. We drove an hour to be there and weren’t disappointed.

We are San Diego natives and are always disappointed by Mexican food in South Florida. Not this time! It’s Peruvian Mexican fusion,

Rueben is from Baja and Sharon is from Peru. He brings the core of the dishes plus the quality Baja California wines (first place in all of SoFlo we have seen wines from Valle de Guadalupe) and she brings the Peruvian spices and sauces. I’d give it 10 thumbs up if I had 10 hands!

This restaurant is really wonderful. It opened about 4 months ago, and everyone should make plans to visit. The owners are a lovely couple who personally take time to engage their customers and present their Peruvian/Mexican fusion dishes. It’s all small plates, which allowed us to try 6 dishes plus dessert. Each dish was unique, interesting and amazing to taste. My wife loved the Bronzino Ceviche and for me the Grillled Octopus was exceptional. Don’t miss the Filet and the desserts!
