I get takeout from Moringa. It’s for sure the best Indian restaurant in the area. We like the Tikka Masala and garlic naan, but the real star of the show here is the Gobi 65… it’s better than what the Indian restaurants on Lexington Avenue in Midtown are serving, and that’s saying a lot.
When you enter the restaurant there are always Indian people eating there, which is always a great indicator for me as well.

Firstly, they have very good customer service and they were very helpful. My daughter is Indian and she had an event at school and they made a butter chicken tray last minute, everyone enjoyed it so we gave it a try. We had mango lassi, butter chicken, shrimp curry, paneer butter masala, shrimp fried rice, and nutella dosa for dessert. Everything was fresh and delicious the sauces were very flavorful. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

The lollipop chicken is super tasty, and both the goat curry and butter chicken hit the spot. The garlic naan — you have to get it. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat! The service excellent as well. The wife and I will be coming back here.

My wife and I were craving Indian food and had to get some shopping done, so this was very convenient with it being right next to Costco. It’s gotten great reviews and we can see why. It’s part of a strip mall and it’s not by any means a fancy restaurant. It’s clean and nice inside, but again, nothing fancy. We happened to be the only ones in the restaurant at the time we went. Service was good, but we didn’t get our waters refilled which usually is something that is either done automatically or at least asked. It wasn’t a big deal, but my wife did say that she was very thirsty towards the end of the meal.

As for the food, it was delicious. We got the Chicken 65 Appetizer, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Vindaloo, Garlic Naan and Chili Garlic Naan. Everything was prepared fantastically and was full of flavor. I always love Indian food because of the unique flavors and tastes you don’t really get in other cuisines and Moringa did not disappoint. The chicken in all the dishes was juicy and packed with flavor. Overall, a great experience and if we have the urge for Indian food again, we’ll likely be back.

Drove 40 minutes to try Moringa after seeing great reviews, and they did not disappoint. The appetizers were fantastic; we tried chicken, fish, and lamb, and each dish had a distinct and delicious flavor profile. As someone from Chennai, I can say the taste was very close to authentic South Indian food from back home. We will absolutely make the trip to visit again whenever we’re in the area!

I was told by a coworker to try out Moringa even though they couldn’t remember the name, and since I have been to India and had to cook Indian food before I thought it would be nice to try. So on my day off Friday I went to Moringa even though it was a 35 minute drive each way.

When I entered the place it didn’t look real fancy which made me feel better because I was dressed casual. I was greeted by a lady wearing traditional Indian attire who told me to sit where I wanted and she brought me a menu.

First off I had their Samosas which tasted nice and the two dipping sauces complimented them (though I preferred the green sauce)

For my main course I ordered garlic naan and chicken curry. I asked for the curry to be hot and the heat stayed in my mouth the whole time I ate it. The garlic naan was nice and delicious side to keep me going.

Overall I was joyful to get the food and get to be away from my house for a few hours, yet I do wish it was closer because Friday traffic into and out of Waterbury can be difficult.

We had a great meal and there was plenty left over to take home. There is a very wide variety of Indian fare to choose from and the service is friendly and efficient, and everything is prepared on premises. The chicken tandoori comes out on cast-iron skillet, sizzling with goodness. Samosa Chaad gets a callout for excellence. The location itself is pretty simple and there was a cricket match going on the large screen TV. Clearly a family run place that really takes pride in its food. You will not be disappointed! Prices are quite reasonable, which is a rarity these days.

Food is great. Loved the mango lassi, not too sweet, real mango flavor! We had masala dosa, rogan gosh, garlic naan. Our server recommended to try moringa chicken instead of chicken lollipop, it was unique and very tasty. Food is HALAL.
