Morimoto is a fantastic spot for contemporary Japanese food in Polanco. The sushi and sashimi are excellent, made with incredibly fresh ingredients. The sleek and stylish atmosphere makes it great for a special night out, and the service is always attentive and friendly.

The service and atmosphere is good but the food is not good considering the price. Also the plastic chopsticks are terrible to eat. The Chef needs to at least watch a cooking show from Japan. Worst ramen I have ever had.

Everything was very good
The quality and freshness of the fish we had was very good
Perhaps the only one that wasn’t that good was the ramen. Service great and place is super nice.

Came to Morimoto for their Ramen festival. I had high expectations and was a bit disappointed. Ramen was about 400 pesos and barely had any flavor. We had some dumplings which were just okay. A glass of wine and the bill was around 1k per person. I wouldn’t be back; I don’t think the place has a good quality-price ratio.

Very nice and beautifully decored Japanese restaurant inside hotel Camino Real Polanco. Good enough food but don’t think I will return. There were a lot of people working at restaurant, and we were the only table but service was below what we expected.

Over priced, understaffed and undercooked.

I don’t know why they opened only one waiter for.ten tables. The food very very mediocre, a sushi bar in the airport style. Wouldn’t recommend getting near this place.

The quality-price ratio is bad, we had dinner for two and the bill was 3300+ pesos for average food with average quality ingredients it didn’t taste bad but it wasn’t good either, the service was okay until i left a tip lower than what the waiter wanted then he didn’t said thanks and left with an angry face the only two good things about this place is the hostess which had a hearty welcome and the place was pretty and clean.

Wouldn’t recommend and won’t come back

I would give 6 stars to the place. Pricey and not for every taste. But the food together with the deserts exceed any expectation. And the service is amazing. Definitely among the top 5 in Mexico.
