I recommend this place. They have a good staff very helpful. The food is incredible. We had an amazing dinner. We enjoyed the menu with: entree homemade chicken Live Pate , mains 28 for day Aged 10oz Angus rib-eye steak and dessert Mille -feuille boths are from France. The atmosphere are French and quiet.

I had such a lovely experience at Morilles Bistro in Rathfarnham. From the moment I arrived, the warm welcome and relaxed atmosphere set the tone for a great evening. The staff were genuinely friendly, attentive without being intrusive, and clearly passionate about what they do.

I was really disappointed with our experience at The Morilles Bistro. The food itself was good, but it was far too expensive for what it was. Other restaurants in the area serve the exact same dishes with the same quality for almost half the price. It honestly didn’t feel worth the money at all.
What made the experience even worse was the staff. Our waiter was unfriendly from the moment we arrived. He was rude several times throughout our visit, which made us feel uncomfortable and completely unwelcome. This wasn’t just a one-off moment — it happened repeatedly during the meal.
At the end, when we chose not to leave a tip because of the poor service, he became even ruder. He started making loud noises behind the bar and while clearing the plates, which felt very unprofessional and honestly quite strange.
We told the manager, but he didn’t seem surprised at all — almost as if this behaviour was normal or acceptable. That was even more disappointing.
Overall, definitely not worth the price or the attitude. I wouldn’t recommend The Yellow House based on our experience.

This is an old fashioned French restaurant. The food was superb. Beef carpaccio was just Devine. So delicate, with a punch of flavor. The trout starter was fantastic, and the pate was so smooth. The steak was cooked perfectly and the onion jam that came with it was unctuous. We finished with a chocolate fondant which was oozy and delicious. You will not be disappointed here.

We had lunch here and it was very good. Proper French cooking. Some very interesting dishes like venison with a chocolate sauce. I had sole which was very nice but was €38. There was a very limited lunch menu which is why we ended up ordering from the main menu….. Which I thought was too expensive. We were the only customers. I would go back for dinner.

An absolutely stunning experience. The food was excellent from start to finish, everything was cooked to perfection & the flavours were intricate and thoroughly enjoyable. The service was also friendly & the atmosphere was great, I can see why this is a local hotspot! I had the prawn ravioli, the barbary duck & the default dessert accompanying the 3-course menu. All were excellent & incredibly enjoyable. If you’re looking for affordable fine-dining locally, there is no better place in the Rathfarnham area for the best quality food.

We went to Morilles bistro last weekend and the food was excellent, and the service was outstanding! Very impressed with how attentive Sylvain was throughout the whole service we felt so welcome. We will definitely be back for some exquisite food and friendly service 10/10!!
