Mori Sushi is Egypt’s leading and most recognizable sushi brand. Conceptualized in São Paulo, the Mori brand began life as a small and cutting-edge establishment in the heart of the Brazilian city. Renowned for its flair, freshness, and exceptional taste, and with a cult following that included some of São Paulo finest clientele, it proved an irresistible proposition to a group of young Egyptian entrepreneurs who stumbled across it during a trip to Brazil. They struck the deal of a lifetime, buying the rights to the name and the knowhow, and leaving their Japanese-trained culinary partner – and now head chef – behind to learn the ways of Mori directly from the owner.

As an Asian, the noodles is way below the Asian standard. It’s dry, tasteless, the veggies are cut unevenly, the sauce was weird, the beef on top which is EGP 170.00 extra were pieces of rubber. The sushi was dry as a wood, the salmon was as thin as paper. Stay away from this restaurant if you want to have a good Asian food. Not worth the money.
The server gave me hot sauce without telling me it’s chargeable. Why are they working in an Asian restaurant?
– spicy ramen arrived with the noodles overcooked and the soup level at half of the bowl. Upon trying it we realised the soup base was cream of mushroom / chicken with abit of Japanese spice tossed in. The noodles were starchy and awful, and some of the mushrooms were not even cooked, and hard. We sent it back and asked for another but it came back same noodles with more soup and spice, that’s it. Worst ramen I’ve ever had in my life.
Food was very good , service is excellent
Highly recommended and definitely coming back again
Sushi tasted amazing and delicious. Loved every piece and type they had presented in the buffet. Amazing service by Abdul Wahab.
