Kindle did a great job. The hostess asked how was our day when she walked us to our both, a 1st for me and very impressive. Dining is an experience more than a just meal. This was a very pleasant experience! Our drinks were well made. Tasty and they didn’t skimp on the alcohol. The rolls were not hot, but they were different and delicious. The house salad is not iceberg, be aware. The chicken flats were cooked perfectly as was my ribeye steak. I asked for the Aloha marinade. It’s was wonderful. It’s Red Rock Canyon in Derby. Going back

1st, yes go! They are still working on kitchen timing, but the food was definitely terrific and priced very appropriately. Service was fantastic, drinks were easy to get and the appetizers came very efficiently. The entrees took 69 minutes from the time they were ordered, but they let us know the kitchen was running slow and yes they were navigating a full house. The server and a couple of managers kept us informed and it really was fine. It makes such a difference when you have good, pleasant communication. Really, the entire staff was very kind and apologetic about the delay. We were a party of 4 and had a nice time and will definitely be back.
The meal, appetizers were shrimp cargo, and boom boom shrimp, had a half wedge salad (not shown but perfect), entrees were salmon, two had the 14oz ribeye steaks, and another had the chicken and filet. Nothing could have been improved, in fact my wife thought her salmon was the best she ever had.

Absolutely phenomenal experience at Morgan’s Steakhouse in Derby! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
From start to finish, everything was outstanding. We kicked things off with the spinach and artichoke dip, which was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor—perfect for sharing. We ended up splitting everything, and it made the experience even better because every dish was worth tasting.
The steak was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and full of flavor—and the salmon was absolutely delicious, charred, flaky, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor as well. The sides were just as impressive: loaded potatoes that were indulgent and satisfying, fried okra that was crispy and seasoned just right, and mac and cheese that was creamy, comforting, and downright addictive.
We also enjoyed a Caesar salad—the dressing had a little spicy kick to it, but it tasted amazing and added a unique twist.
To top it all off, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and kind, making us feel right at home the entire time. Amazing food, great service, and a warm atmosphere—Morgan’s Steakhouse is an absolute must in Derby. We will definitely be back!

This is the new steakhouse in Derby. It is definitely worth it. The atmosphere is lovely. In terms of service, they operate under a completely different model here. Their servers rotate around the restaurant. Someone is constantly coming by the table. You want for nothing. Their shrimp appetizer is really good. Their rolls are tasty. The steaks are great! Their mashed potatoes come loaded. So delicious. I haven’t had anything here that I didn’t like. My family loves it as well.

We sat at the bar on a Friday night instead of waiting 45 minutes. The 3 bar tenders did a great job and were very attentive. The rolls were good, but denser than expected and served with sweet cream butter. We decided to not get an appetizer. My wife and I had the same thing, Enchiladas and Steak. Maybe a little misleading since it was just 1 enchilada. The dinner was $19.99 each. Not too bad, really. The atmosphere is very similar to Red Rock Canyon Grill, but not that elevated. Go check it out!

Our waitress was a girl named Ashlyn, who did an awesome job of waiting on me and my friend, the manager on duty was Lily, who came over and checked on me twice, just to make sure everything was great and I’m telling you, I know, I’ve heard some bad things. And I’ve heard some good things about this place just depends on what time of the day you catch them and how busy they are, but my food was extremely wonderfully cooked with love, everything that we ordered was just right. They could’ve done a better job if I’d gone in the kitchen and did it myself kudos to the crew at Morgan’s
Of course i had the filet with a baked potato and honey glazed carrots, and our appetizer was the Bang bang shrimp, and it was Bang bang. Let me tell you, the food was awesome. The appetizer was even better, thank you a very satisfied customer.

Tried the new steakhouse in town with the wife, and let me just say the place looks great, the service is amazing, and the vibe is top-notch. The food was good, shrimp starter was fire then we went to key lime before our main courses, but the mac and cheese was definitely on a low-sodium diet. A little salt and pepper and I got it believing in itself again.
Overall, a really nice spot with a ton of potential. We’ll be back probably with our own seasoning packet, just in case.

Not bad. Lady bartender was very rude. But the girls taking reservations when you walk in are awesome customer service. Appetizer was good. I ordered the Rattlesnack enchiladas. Interesting full of flavor for sure. Rolls were okay but need a cinnamon butter not just plain butter for them. Would go back and try again.

We were promptly welcomed and soon after we were seated. Our server was polite and helpful. We ordered the spinach dip appetizer and it was ok, could use a little seasoning.
I ordered a Ribeye steak and it came a little under my requested medium well, but I was more disappointed that the steak was laced with gristle and sinew. It was difficult to cut through. The server was prompt to remove it and had it put back on the grill. A manager brought that same steak back and I had lost any desire to eat. A manger came back and bent over backwards to get me to allow them to make me another dinner. Although I said no three times I relented and got a completely new plate. This cut of steak was no better than the first. Hard to cut through. I’ve never seen a ribeye be difficult to cut right through the middle of the steak. The manager did not charge me for my meal and I appreciated that.
