Had a great weekend in Portland. We watched some hometown football and enjoyed some good food. Bloody Mary’s are homemade and even a couple slots machines if you like penny slots. We even came back for seconds later that day. I will say they prices were pretty steep. A couple of beers a bloody Mary and a sandwich for $56.00. That is the only reason they didn’t get a five star for me but in today’s economy price matters.

We LOVE this place. The owner, Ben, is friendly and truly cares about his clients, as do his bar staff: Joe & Amelia. They are all absolutely amazing and impressive at juggling a full house. Tuesday’s are Trivia Nights and Wednesdays are Music Bingo with the other Joe. We have so much fun and win gift certificates to offset our next visit. It’s pretty competitive so bring your friends! The food and drinks are delicious and they make their own boozy slushes from scratch. Best customer service in town. We are thankful to be able to walk here and back home and we never leave unsatisfied.

I had the spicy chicken sandwich. It was not great. The service was top shelf. The sandwich was thin on the chicken, resulting in an overly hard crust with a flavor that found me wanting more. I would’ve given a lower rating, since my main goal tonight was a tasty meal, but the service was perfection. I was immediately greeted with a smile and friendly service. I think other options on the menu are good, but I’m a big fried chicken sandy person and this place blows at that. I could tell from the quality of the tots and other parts of the sandy it has good food but just avoid the chicken sandy. Automatic bar is like 100 times better for that part. Wish I tried the burgers

The food here is underrated. My favorite burger in Portland is here. The Peanut burger is 10/10. Now I show up for breakfast and have the best corned beef hash I’ve ever had. Would definitely recommend.

The owner was working by himself on a busy football Saturday and was kicking ass! Great beer selection. They have all the liquors you need. Pub food very good. And enough TVs to get your game

This place is a hidden gem in the Portland market. They have exceptional food, quality cocktails, and friendly staff. It is also a great place to watch Sunday football. I rarely give 5 Stars across the board, so you might want to stop in.

Went there today with a friend for Saturday Brunch. Had an amazing Bloody Maria made with the house infused tequila. Excellent cocktail selection, about a dozen draft beers, several big screens. Bar and table seating, outside picnic tables.
I had the homemade corned beef hash. Eggs done perfectly. My friend had the bacon, eggs and biscuits and gravy. Chef’s Kiss! Portions were fairly large. We both took food home.
Service was terrific. Our bartender, Ben was gracious, fast and friendly. The food came out quickly and was HOT and fresh.
The atmosphere is laid back. The place is immaculately clean.
I hear they have Music Bingo on Wednesday night and Trivia on Tuesday night.
Things to know – parking is typical Sellwood-Moreland street parking and they give a slightly better price for cash over credit cards.
Will definitely be back. A great local gem.

Went in for Weiner week, when we walked in not a glance from staff or hello. when ordering at the bar as we were supposed to we said we’d like to order the weiner week special. the bartender not even acknowledging us told us as a matter-of-fact that we should read the fine print and that they start at 1:30p and not to waste their time.
if you are going to promote a one week special the Onus isn’t on me, the customer, it’s on You, the business, to let people know that we’re going to muck up your day.

now that i’m reminded of it, i just downgraded the rating from a two to one star

Such a great local Sports Bar – NOT your typical neighborhood tavern! Not only because you can catch your favorite team on any one of the multitude of screens they have but the food, staff and atmosphere are pretty darn amazing, too. Weekend brunch can get quite busy (because, yes, the menu is just that good), so plan accordingly. If you’re not a sports fanatic, that’s ok, Foodies will love it also!

Great sports bar with a fun and engaging staff, and customers that keep the atmosphere fun. Never had a bad experience, family friendly and respectful of all the letters in the alphabet. Good portion sizes, thoughtfully prepared food, and a whole bunch of screens with all the games playing. The summer menu drink menu is amazing with weekly slushy specials that actually have booze in them unlike the usual Portland slushies that are basically just koolaid. I’d give it five stars if the hash browns were crisper, lol.
